Our cat got sick last November, and we went to the vet in Neuenhaus. To cut a long story short, it turned out the cat had kidney problems. She was put on a diet, but she kept urinating blood. Our regular vet was on vacation, so we ended up at this vet. They examined her and said she didn't have kidney problems. To which they said to stop the kidney diet. We followed their advice, and now we had to have our cat put to sleep on August 27, 2020, due to their incorrect diagnosis. Our vet said she *did* have kidney problems. We tried the diet one more time, but unfortunately, it was too late. So, thanks, Vechtetal Tierarztpratyk. 😭😭😭

I recently took my horse to the clinic for a dental check-up and treatment. The veterinarian took her time, explained everything to me, and was very kind to my horse. I was allowed to feel his teeth before and after the procedure to understand what she was doing. She is highly competent and I can wholeheartedly recommend her. Many thanks again!

Unfortunately, we had to euthanize our dog the day before yesterday. This last treatment was also carried out with the appropriate professionalism and respect. Just like all the other treatments we've visited in recent years, both in Wilsum and Hardenberg. We've had excellent experiences with both, although (understandably, as it's a bit smaller there) the approach in Wilsum felt a bit more personal. This applied to both the phone and the in-person contact. Several reviews mention prices. Well, quality has its price, right?

I had my Shetland pony stallion gelded at the Vechtetal veterinary practice. As far as I know, this is the only practice in my area that castrates horses on-site and not privately at the clients' stables. We brought our pony to the practice the evening before the castration. The procedure was performed the following morning, and I was able to pick him up again in the afternoon. I deliberately chose this practice because it was important to me that my pony be castrated directly at the vet's office and not at my own farm. This allowed the team to professionally monitor and care for him after the procedure and treat any subsequent complications immediately. Luckily, our Hubi came through the castration well, so I was able to pick him up again in the afternoon. The staff gave us a very friendly welcome and seemed very professional. Hubi was housed in a well-equipped and bedded stall with plenty of hay and water. I also checked prices in the area and found the cheapest castration for my pony here compared to other vets. The price even included his stay at the clinic, which other clinics don't offer. I highly recommend having such procedures done at this clinic. If I need a vet for any of our animals in the future, I will definitely go back to this clinic. Thank you so much for your great work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My girlfriend had this experience here – in short: absolutely dissatisfied. The staff's expertise is inadequate, and even after discussions, they show no understanding. They don't know what each person is doing. They repeatedly just work according to protocol. Suggestions are ignored, and there's no discussion about how things could be improved. Instead, they simply resort to euthanasia. Incorrect diagnoses are made, and when nothing else works, you're just referred elsewhere. It's heartbreaking. My conclusion: Go somewhere else.
