Great clinic with amazing and helpful doctors. They speak English, which was very important to us since we were in Vienna for a trip. Our dog was properly taken care of and we wouldn’t want to end up in any other place with our emergency (broken leg).
I had to rush with my dog to the Vetklinikum late at night. From the moment we came into their clinic, we were greeted with kindness and professionalism from the entire staff. The veterinarian was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain my dog's condition and the recommended treatment plan. She answered all of my questions with patience and empathy, putting me at ease during a stressful time. Overall, I highly recommend the Vetklinikum to anyone in need of veterinary care for their furry loved ones. Thank you for all that you do!
Really good experience, nice and new facility, kind staff with great English. Fair prices. Amazing comfort of being open 24/7.
We brought our dog Gile in a very bad condition, i.e. not eating, having a diarrhea, not willing to go outside. In late evening, Vetklinikum personnel made blood test on site, made a diagnosis and suggested intensive care for Gile. After 2 days she got back on her feet and now is fully recovered. Special thanks goes to Dr. Jasmin Schneeweiß - she made this sensitive situation to pass fluently. Only best recommendations
Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk staff. One of the receptionist placed five different medications on the counter in front of me, and when I asked how they should be administered, she became visibly frustrated. She began pacing back and forth nervously and making phone calls, which lasted for about 10 minutes, before eventually writing down the instructions. As the information provided was incomplete, I asked a follow-up question about which time of day the medications should be given and whether they should be administered before or after meals. These are basic and essential instructions that should automatically be provided in an animal hospital. This made her even more irritated, and she then spoke about me to her colleague directly in front of me and other clients, which was extremely uncomfortable and disrespectful. After that, she left without saying a word and did not complete the service. Eventually, another colleague stepped in and helped me, and she was professional and supportive. It later became clear that each medication had specific dosing, timing, and storage requirements, all of which are essential for safe and proper treatment. In addition to this, the waiting time was excessively long, and considering the high cost of the services, I expected a significantly higher level of professionalism and communication. I would like to emphasize that I only asked for basic information regarding medication administration, which should be a standard part of patient care. Being treated in this manner is highly unprofessional and not what one would expect from an animal hospital.
