Reviews
I've taken my cat to this vet multiple times and have had a lovely experience so far. Very kind and helpful vet, vet assistants, and receptionists. I don't speak Dutch or German, but despite that they still make an effort to communicate clearly with me in English, which I appreciate a lot. They took great care of my kitten and you can tell they all truly care about animals. Even when there was a complication with my cat's surgery recovery, they did a great job fixing it and helping him get healthy and active again. Thank you for everyone's hard work! 😸
I would give this practice negative stars if I could. I took my rabbit, Dumbo, to you in July 2025 because of an emergency. The veterinarian's first words to me were, "He has to be euthanized." That should have been a red flag for me. It's a shame that there are veterinary practices that are only interested in money and not the animal's well-being. This veterinarian gave my poor little Dumbo a completely wrong diagnosis. How do I know? I took him all the way to Duisburg for a CT scan. It wasn't, as she claimed, a dislocated jaw. According to her, he would soon be unable to eat properly and would eventually starve to death. And lo and behold... it was an ear problem. Today, seven months later, he's still alive. I'm so grateful that I didn't listen to her but to my gut feeling. He's incredibly active and happy. He's my heart. It's clear that this veterinarian has absolutely no clue about rabbits. I'm only writing this review now. I thought about this for a long time because I don't like giving bad reviews. But we're talking about living beings here. It's best to think twice before choosing a veterinarian with experience… And I can only speak from my own experience. I hope you learn from this criticism and perhaps take a continuing education course on companion animals or refresh your knowledge.
Hello, My name is Bruno, I'm a Shih Tzu, and I'll soon be 12 years old. My owner took me to my family vet, Dr. Soepenberg, after calling ahead, during normal opening hours. After waiting an hour and a half (no problem—no appointment necessary), I was treated for five minutes on my inflamed eye. A few hairs were removed (and eye drops were prescribed). For this exceptional service, the practice charged €126.35. The icing on the cake, however, was that so-called "urgent services," which significantly disrupted the practice's operations, were charged an additional €48.85. So, my owner ended up with a bill of €175.20 for five minutes of treatment, including eye drops. I think that's pretty outrageous. WARNING: Hidden costs—it's best to find out beforehand. My owner has now asked me to inform him 10-14 days in advance of any future eye inflammation. He wants to make an appointment so we don't significantly disrupt the practice's operations. For almost €50, my groomer doesn't just remove a few hairs from my eye, he cuts my entire coat. My owner has wished the practice team a speedy recovery and is now taking me to another vet. As my owner always says, "Take good care." Stay healthy! Bruno 🐾
A veterinarian with true passion! A stray cat—unchipped, unneutered, and badly injured—was brought to him. He had a huge hole in his neck and desperately needed help. This veterinarian didn't hesitate and immediately cared for the animal with great dedication, compassion, and expertise. Thanks to his help, we were able to have the cat microchipped and neutered so he can stay in his territory. It's truly admirable how much heart is shown for animals here, especially those without a home. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much for your incredible dedication and humanity. A veterinarian who truly lives his profession with passion! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
