Our vet for over 30 years. In my opinion, the best there is on this earth. She is incredibly empathetic with both animals and people. She takes her time and is highly competent. There are very few vets I can say this about, and I'm a very cautious, skeptical person, but I would vouch for Astrid Ehme with my life. Outstanding emergency service at Christmas! We took our cat there for emergency treatment and were absolutely delighted. Short waiting time (despite it being an emergency), very thorough examination, and transparent explanation of the treatment costs and next steps. You can tell that the animal's well-being is their top priority. Professionally and personally top-notch – a highly recommended practice!

We took our 19-year-old cat to Dr. Ehme for a second opinion. She was very kind and empathetic and honestly told us we should start saying goodbye. Any further surgery would be pointless. Our usual vet wanted to do blood work first! Just to get him a painkiller! Five days later, he passed away peacefully at home, pain-free. This saved us the final trip to the vet, which had been scheduled for the next day. I highly recommend this practice. The doctor and staff are professional and always empathetic. We sincerely thank the entire team, even though we only visited once.
