I've been coming to this practice for almost 12 years with my dog 🐕 and for 5 years with our cat 🐈. Unfortunately, she had an accident last year, but she received very quick and excellent care. Our cat 🐈 had already had two litters of kittens and then, unexpectedly, a third litter. While all the kittens were healthy, one developed swimmer syndrome (a genetic defect) in its fifth week. Thanks to the intensive treatment at Samantha's (physiotherapist) practice and the loving team, the little kitten survived and is enjoying life to the fullest 🤗 despite his minor disability. We are so grateful that you have been able to help us time and again over the past 12 years, and especially for the intensive care Samantha provided to get the little kitten walking again. You are a wonderful, warm, and caring team! 🤩

While my parents were on vacation, I looked after their cat. During that time, her condition deteriorated dramatically—she grew weaker, thinner, and weaker every day. Despite several visits to Dr. Gühne's practice and the hope that she could be helped, her condition worsened. When the moment finally came when there was no hope left, I wanted to at least give her a gentle, painless farewell. I trusted that this final journey would be accompanied with compassion and dignity. But what happened next is something I will never forget. Dr. Gühne grabbed the small, exhausted cat by the scruff of the neck, lifted her up, and with a swift movement, stabbed her directly in the heart. It all happened so abruptly, so coldly, so heartlessly—that I froze in that moment. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She let out one last, pained meow—I could hear her lungs emptying, and then she was silent. It was horrific. That moment is seared into my memory. It wasn't a gentle falling asleep, not a peaceful farewell—it was a shock I haven't overcome to this day. I'm writing this review because I hope no other animal or person ever has to experience anything like this. When you're already at your wit's end in such a situation, you should be able to trust in empathy, respect, and dignity. I will never forget that moment. Thank you for what I'm left with—trauma instead of comfort.

I've been going there for so long. I've experienced a lot of joy, a lot of sorrow – including having to euthanize – and sometimes there have been a few arguments, but they've always been very empathetic and direct. And I appreciate that. I'm very satisfied. Of course, having to go to the emergency vet on the weekend is a real pain, but Tina has handled it well so far, and I hope it stays that way. I'm so glad I have you all. Regarding euthanasia, I can't agree with the previous poster. I still vividly remember the last time a cat, only 4 years old, died with a serious heart condition, and it was handled with compassion, respect, and on equal terms from beginning to end. Sometimes perceptions in such situations are different, so I would advise the lady to go back and bring it up. I'll be back – hopefully not too soon – as always. Greetings, Silvia Altheimer

In my opinion, the best veterinarian in Landsberg and the surrounding area. The ladies at reception are incredibly friendly. I've been taking my dog and cat to them for over 17 years and have always received excellent advice and found the best solution. Even during emergency appointments, whether by phone or in person, they always reassured me and helped me. I highly recommend them both. ❤️
