I initially took my cat to this veterinary practice because he was suffering from severe pain and a large bladder stone was suspected. Despite this, I was sent home with instructions to return the following day. That same evening, my cat's condition deteriorated drastically: he cried out in pain, couldn't settle down, couldn't urinate, and vomited everything he drank. I then called the practice's emergency number and described the situation in detail. I was simply told that he had been given pain medication and that there was nothing more they could do; he just had to get through the night. As his condition continued to worsen, I eventually took him to an animal hospital on my own. There, an acute emergency was immediately diagnosed – my cat had a massively distended bladder containing stones and grit and required immediate treatment. According to the attending veterinarians, he most likely wouldn't have survived the night. My cat had to be hospitalized for several days (catheterization, lavage, etc.), which was not only extremely emotionally stressful for us but also incurred significant costs. In this situation, I would have at least expected to be advised to come back or go directly to an animal hospital. In my opinion, that's the bare minimum for an emergency number. I will not be using this practice again in the future!

I take my dog, cat, and guinea pigs to Dr. Weinert. She is a caring and competent veterinarian. Even when an animal needs to be euthanized, she provides clear explanations and a safe space for grieving. Children who accompany their pets to the practice are included in the examinations, and their questions are answered respectfully. I have been taking my animals to this practice for almost 20 years and am extremely satisfied.

I was there today, but couldn't get a good impression because it was too crowded, so I drove home with my dog. It would be nice to still be able to make appointments there like with all the other vets.
