Many thanks to the Plettenberg Veterinary Practice! We were able to bring our dog in for a consultation on short notice on a Saturday. There was no delay – Mr. Plettenberg and his veterinary assistant helped quickly and efficiently. Since then, our dog has been doing much better :)

He was a fantastic veterinarian. Rest in peace, he passed away at the age of 94 on December 26, 1925. I've never seen a vet like him. He was a vet through and through!

For years, we've been more than happy with our dog at Dr. von Plettenberg's. We've also brought him several wild animals, most recently a little mouse that I couldn't leave helpless. He helps every animal and is simply a kind soul! I like his straightforward and honest manner, which certainly isn't something everyone can handle. However, he's always been friendly and helpful to us, and we've been to him too, of course ;) As I said, he helps the animals, and that's the most important thing for me in a veterinarian. Hopefully, he'll stay with the animals and us for a long time to come, because unfortunately, I don't know any veterinarian who is so selfless and lives for animals.

We had an emergency with our dog around 10 pm today. So, I called the vet through the emergency service, and I just learned that the gentleman is 93 years young and still running his practice! That's absolutely incredible!!!! Our dog swallowed something while playing, and with a detailed description of the symptoms, he was able to help us with a remote diagnosis! Sauerkraut was the solution; we were able to find some at a well-stocked gas station, saving us the long trip to the veterinary clinic! Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ P.S. I can't understand the 1-star reviews about the vet being unfriendly at all! I called him while he was in bed, and he was incredibly friendly and helpful!!!
