We've been going to Imke for a long time, and we'll continue to do so for a long time to come. Our dog has been doing much better since we started seeing Imke regularly, and she has a knack for explaining problems simply and directly. She always puts the animal's well-being first, and you feel like you're getting very personalized advice. In addition to her expertise as a veterinarian and canine physiotherapist, she's an honest and straightforward person, which I really appreciate! Unfortunately, there aren't many like her anymore. My dog is already looking forward to our next visit.
I've been taking my dog to the practice once or twice a week for the past three months and I'm completely satisfied. Imke has an extremely comprehensive range of expertise and combines this in her treatments with a great deal of empathy and patience. Thanks to her many contacts and experience with veterinarians and clinics, she consistently helps me plan my dog's ongoing treatment. We utilize both manual therapy and the underwater treadmill, and Imke approaches both treatments with great dedication and a wealth of knowledge! I can recommend this practice to EVERYONE!
We've already taken our second puppy to Imke Niewöhner's veterinary practice and are very satisfied. She's always available to answer any questions, takes her time, and impresses with her extensive expertise and highly competent advice. She's a particularly great resource for questions about nutrition. We feel very well cared for and can wholeheartedly recommend her practice.
Our dog had been suffering from back pain for months, so after taking x-rays, our vet sent us to a physiotherapist. My girlfriend took our dog to see Ms. Niewöhner. She said the x-rays were poor quality and the dog was in too much pain for her to do anything. So we went back to the vet, had new x-rays taken, and made another appointment with Ms. Niewöhner. According to her, the x-rays were again poor quality and unusable, so she wouldn't and couldn't do anything. During this time, she was quite unfriendly to my girlfriend and, to make matters worse, demanded that she leave the parking lot immediately (when she was just setting up the GPS) because another customer was arriving. In desperation, our vet sent us to a physiotherapist in Donnerschwee, as she was supposed to have a good reputation. This physiotherapist completely resolved the problem, using the same x-rays, mind you, within two sessions and without any aids. He only had muscle tension. I seriously wonder how something like this can happen. Definitely not recommended and we certainly won't be coming back.
I am absolutely thrilled with the treatment I've received from Imke Niewöhner! Even after the first session, I could see my dog bounding around the garden with pure joy and energy – it was an incredible experience. It was clear that she felt much better and her mobility had returned. Every subsequent treatment has been incredibly beneficial for her. I notice how she is more relaxed and visibly more comfortable after each session. It's such a relief to know she's in the hands of such a competent and empathetic veterinarian. Here, the animal truly comes first. Although the drive takes over an hour, I make the effort because I know my dog is receiving the best possible treatment. It's truly an investment in her well-being that is more than worthwhile. I wholeheartedly recommend Imke to all pet owners who want the very best for their beloved animals. It's wonderful to see her quality of life return!
