First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and praise to Dr. Gefäller. We commend her for her absolutely precise work (the complex surgery on our dog's knee – patellar luxation), her skill, her perfect know-how, her pleasant and calm manner, and her compassionate approach to both animal and owner. Thanks to her procedure, she has given our dog a new, carefree life. And she has given us a new lease on life as well, because the well-being of the animal is always Dr. Gefäller's top priority, and of course, ours too. Unfortunately, we received the wrong diagnosis from three different veterinarians before seeking a fourth opinion, as the symptoms weren't improving. Here, our dog finally received the help he needed, and the necessary surgery was performed shortly thereafter. As expected, the recovery went wonderfully, and a whole new world of adventures opened up for our dog – all pain-free. It is clear that she will continue to be our veterinarian for all future examinations and procedures, such as neutering. Unfortunately, we would like to consult her again for any examinations or procedures, including neutering. A huge THANK YOU again from us.

I brought my little dog, who had an enlarged heart shown on an X-ray, in just for an ultrasound. Without any explanation, my dog was grabbed by the paws and immediately laid on her side. You could see the tension rising in her, her breathing and heart rate increasing. She was suddenly somewhat calm, her mouth opened, and her tongue came out. That was too much for my girl. The vet and staff didn't react to this change. After the ultrasound, she stopped moving completely, couldn't walk anymore, and collapsed while standing. "Yes, circulatory problems," they said, "a little rest and it'll be alright." At midday, she got worse and worse. I called again to see if we could come in, but they said no, they didn't have time. No time for an emergency... In the afternoon, she had to be euthanized by the vet in Westphalia. My grief is immense. I went in with a sick but otherwise healthy dog, and she came out deathly ill. I can't find a good word for it. This has nothing to do with animal love. A patient should be treated humanely, not just thrown out the standard procedure, and yet this is how it's always done. Never again... I think the little one had a stroke or similar attack and it wasn't recognized...

Thank you so much for the empathetic and calming treatment on Sunday. We were in a very difficult physical situation and had already mentally said goodbye to our dog. Here, we felt truly cared for, and our dog was treated very well. She's doing much better, and together we're fighting our way back to health. 🤗

Very friendly staff who are genuinely dedicated to helping the animal. Our dog had two major surgeries, and they were also significantly cheaper than in Bremen.
