Dr. Abdul Rasool Al-Ghobainy

I have only had the best experience with Dr. Al-Ghobainy and his team. He is patient and explains everything very well, even if you ask the same question over and over again, be it in person or over the phone. I had to call him in emergency situations before, and he rushed to the office on a weekend outside his regular office hours to help my cat. He saved my cat's life that day. He did not charge an additional emergency "outside office hours" fee or anything. His vet tech whose name I don't know, a super nice and caring lady, is exceptional in her work as well. My cat developed a chronic disease and I was skeptical when the vet suggested homeopathic (natural) treatment. In the end, I trusted his suggestion, and my cat's kidney values have balanced to an almost healthy cat's values. I am happy to have found such a good vet after having moved to this area.

We took our water turtle to Dr. Al-Ghobainy at the beginning of August because we suspected she was egg-bound. We had been recommended to him by acquaintances, who suggested he treats reptiles. Our suspicion was confirmed, and the treatment proved to be more difficult and lengthy than we had anticipated. Dr. Al-Ghobainy was always friendly and cheerful. He explained everything to us thoroughly and in detail, even several times. He always welcomed our children and involved them in the process. He didn't rush into surgery but first looked for "natural" remedies. The animal's well-being was always his top priority. The appointments were perfectly coordinated, resulting in minimal waiting times (2-3 minutes). He was also always reachable by phone. We were truly very satisfied and highly recommend Dr. Al-Ghobainy. Dear Dr. Al-Ghobainy, thank you so much for your dedication and your consistently friendly and patient manner.

A renowned veterinary clinic in Freiburg diagnosed my cat with epilepsy, which involved extensive diagnostic testing, including an MRI, lumbar puncture, blood tests, and hospitalization. All of this cost me several thousand euros. Despite medication, my cat's condition worsened until it became life-threatening. Only Dr. Al-Ghobainy made the correct diagnosis and ultimately saved his life. He required a change in diet with veterinary-prescribed food, medication to support his circulation, and blood tests.
