Reviews
Dr. Böhme is more than dedicated; she loves animals and people. She helps and is always there with advice and support, often unconventional with home remedies that have often helped our Pooh. Many thanks!
A friendly and competent veterinarian gave me excellent advice regarding a hedgehog I found.
Ms. Böhme neutered our two cats. She was very friendly and kind to them. Everything went perfectly. 😊👍
A run-down, dilapidated place desperately in need of renovation. In the waiting area, dogs were yelling at each other, as if they were being overly affectionate. Well, my dog probably had an infection and was given an antibiotic injection. Since I was afraid she would suffocate that night, I went to the animal hospital. I was turned away at the Herford Center location. Then she was finally relieved of her excruciating pain. The second vet in Lage confirmed that they have no clue. Expensive money for absolutely nothing, like a handful of care. Seriously outrageous. If they were treating people, you would have been sued. As I said, it's a complete dump, no warm welcome whatsoever. Never again, no matter what kind of animal. I'd rather go to the animal hospital and pay the same as that inexperienced woman. X-rays, ultrasound examination, tissue sample, plus euthanasia – I just paid €500 at a veterinary clinic for a large dog. With a woman, I paid €140 for an examination plus antibiotics. Never. If you want to kill your pet, go ahead.
I'm very happy with this veterinary practice. The opening hours are fantastic, and I especially appreciate that you can drop in for minor issues without an appointment. It takes a lot of stress out of the process. The vet is also incredibly friendly and empathetic. When my cat was very ill, she was one of the few vets who truly helped and supported me during that difficult time. In the end, my cat pulled through and recovered – I'm incredibly grateful for that. Even if it's not the most modern practice, I feel very well cared for here and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
