A highly competent practice with a very caring team. All our animals have been and continue to be cared for at Dr. Janssen's practice! I would especially like to express my gratitude that Dr. Janssen is available in emergencies even on weekends and offers house calls. In our case, this meant we didn't feel alone! Thank you so much!

Our ten-year-old Doberman, Aegon—big, proud, and practically the king of the house—decided that a knee-high sock might actually be a culinary delight. Spoiler alert: it wasn't. An intestinal obstruction ensued, and suddenly it was a matter of life and death. Dr. Janssen reacted immediately and operated on Aegon—saving his life. We will be eternally grateful to him for that. After the operation, a fistula developed on his abdomen, which required daily flushing and treatment. During this truly emotional and exhausting time, the entire practice team was incredibly empathetic, caring, and flexible. We were always taken seriously, everything was explained clearly, and Aegon was treated with such calm and warmth. Our brave (and still slightly greedy 😉) patient handled everything with his typical Doberman dignity. Today, he's back to his old self, bounding happily through life—and socks are now definitely under close scrutiny here. After the surgery, a fistula developed on his abdomen, which required daily flushing and treatment. A fantastic practice, a wonderful veterinarian, and a team with so much heart. Thank you for giving our Aegon a second chance. 🖤🐾

Top veterinary practice! The neutering of my cats Balou and Busja went smoothly. Excellent value for money and great service: The practice proactively checked in on their well-being the following day. Very competent and personable. Highly recommended.

A very good practice with a wonderful team. A fantastic team that is very empathetic. They were always there for us in difficult situations, whether it was gastric torsion or, sadly, saying goodbye to a beloved pet. We entrust our Great Danes and our cat to the practice team with complete peace of mind. I'm glad I came to this practice because of my husband's dog at the time. Our animals were and are in very good hands there. It remains our favorite practice with heart ❤️

On September 7th, I had an appointment with my cat because she was visibly unwell. She had blurred vision, hadn't eaten or used the litter box for 24 hours, had no appetite, was withdrawn, and hissed when touched around her kidneys and abdomen. No blood work was done, just a quick palpation and temperature check. Then I was told she "looked perfectly fine and simply couldn't tolerate the new food, or had swallowed a hairball." I was sent home with an expensive malt paste, the kind you can buy at Edeka. She improved briefly, then I received a call back saying I didn't need to come in the next day. In retrospect, all the symptoms pointed to poisoning, but I didn't realize it because she'd never been sick before. The evening after the appointment, on September 8th... I took her to an animal hospital... Diagnosis: severe poisoning, life-threatening condition, intensive care... where she stayed for three days while they tried everything. Unfortunately, my beloved cat had to be euthanized on September 11th because the poison destroyed her kidneys and had already affected her brain. Thank you to the veterinarian, Maike Kohlbach... Thank you so much... my beloved cat had to go because of their misdiagnosis and the fact that they didn't take me seriously. If a pet owner says something is wrong with their animal, please take it seriously next time! A blood test could have prevented this! I hope they learn from their serious mistake. She was only nine years old, and I rescued her as a kitten and raised her... they could have saved her life that day...
