Taking a French Bulldog's temperature was the first, almost insurmountable hurdle. After several attempts, we finally found the "entrance" for the thermometer. The dog was completely calm, so it wasn't her fault. The use of an antiquated ECG, which, after being switched on and off several times, indicated atrial fibrillation, was not reassuring. Three injections and 55 euros later, we were able to leave. There was no diagnosis. Three hours later, we went to the clinic. Our dog is currently in the university hospital with a herniated disc and a fractured kneecap. So, if you need help in an emergency, contact a specialist and avoid this practice.

I urgently needed help, and the good man was available for the entire Burgenland district. He responded to my inquiries with insults, asking if I was out of my mind, and saying he wouldn't drive 30 km, and I couldn't afford it. I told him the money wasn't a problem, I'd pay him for everything, but my animal urgently needed help. His response was, "You're completely stupid!" Then he simply hung up. I'm simply stunned by such malice!

Horrible! I needed a vet but unfortunately wasn't in my hometown. My dog had peeled the skin off his paw right down to the flesh, and this happened over Easter. He might be technically competent, but due to his age, he's no longer able to perform emergency treatments. The skin was stapled shut; I could see his hands trembling even before he arrived. He only sprinkled on styptic powder, and nothing came out of the disinfectant bottle. Despite my questions and pointing things out, there was hardly any reaction. As a result, half the needles didn't stick and had to be removed after 5 days instead of 10. The tendon was severed – not noticed because of the powder. The skin was completely dead, and the wound healing process is still ongoing. High follow-up costs at my regular vet. It really should have been cleaned and stitched; then they probably would have seen the damaged tendon. All in all, I wouldn't recommend him. And then there's the cash payment – you drive there to get the €50-60 and get presented with a receipt for almost €80, "yes, including VAT." I should really get my money back, and I'd even be happy to send you exclusive material. Unfortunately, I didn't see the other reviews beforehand.

I urgently needed medical help because my dog was vomiting constantly and had blood in his stool. He asked how old the animal was. I answered 17, and he replied that he didn't know if the medication he had was working. Now I'm sitting here with my dog, just hoping she's not in pain.

We brought our cat in for an emergency. Unfortunately, our usual vet was already closed and the emergency service wasn't answering the phone, so we ended up here. After 5 minutes, the diagnosis: torn muscle fiber or kidney failure. Both were treated, and medication was provided. All for 60 euros. Great, right? But here's the catch: It turned out to be a pulmonary embolism and thrombosis resulting from a sudden enlargement of the atrium. Admittedly, this was only diagnosed at the veterinary hospital after our regular vet referred us there the next day, and this requires imaging procedures that aren't even offered here. But despite all his experience, Dr. Schramm could at least have admitted that we needed to take the cat to another vet immediately. All in all, I would only have clear-cut cases treated or vaccinated here.
