I've been going to Dr. Schmidt's practice with my dog ​​and other small animals for years. We've always received good advice and treatment, and the price/performance ratio is also very good. The practice nurses are all nice. Anyone who complains about long wait times and that others get seen first probably doesn't fully understand that some things just take time, and the veterinarian sets the order. I wouldn't go to any other veterinarian!

I don't understand how people can get upset about long wait times. It just doesn't make sense to me! Instead of thinking about it: It's good that the vet takes time for her patients and their owners, rather than just doing assembly line work. Ms. Schmidt knows when things are urgent and when they aren't. I take my cat to her for treatment, and she does everything in her power to make things easy for him and to explain everything to me calmly. Even after work, she calls back to ask about the current status. So, complaining about waiting times like those at an ice cream parlor is simply ridiculous!

We came here with an urgent case because the practice was very close and easy to reach. However, in hindsight, another practice would have been more worthwhile. We initially waited over 30 minutes because the receptionist seemed more interested in small talk with customers who had already finished. Then, after we explained the problem, we had to wait again, and three other patients were seen ahead of us. These patients arrived after us and didn't have appointments. Their animals didn't have an urgent emergency, as could be seen from the information provided at reception. Our three-month-old rabbit is doing better now, but even after a two-hour wait, we had to go to another practice because they prioritized other things. Absolutely not recommended and very unfriendly.
