I was already a patient of Dr. Astrid Schäfer with my three cats back in 2022, and I've been living here again since 2026. It was immediately clear to me that I would take my cats to her again this time. I've now also taken my fourth cat to her – and I can only report positive experiences. Since moving back here, I've already taken my cats to her three times in the last two months. This has only reinforced my positive impression and trust. All examinations, treatments, and appointments have been smooth, calm, and professional. I feel my animals are in very good hands there. Dr. Astrid Schäfer works with great care, focus, and expertise. You can tell she knows exactly what she's doing. Her manner might not be overly emotional or particularly effusive, but rather matter-of-fact and straightforward – which I personally don't find negative at all. On the contrary: it gives me the impression that she works with great concentration and takes the animals seriously. Some questions or follow-up inquiries might seem a bit direct to some pet owners at first. And since I'm a very empathetic person myself, I understand that some people might not immediately feel emotionally connected. However, it's important for me to emphasize that I don't perceive this as unfriendly in any way. For me, the most important thing is that the work is done attentively, nothing is overlooked, and the animals are treated competently. That's exactly the feeling I've always had there. The rest of the practice team is also very friendly, helpful, and organized. Overall, there's a calm and professional atmosphere. What's crucial is that the animal is in good medical hands, is taken seriously, and receives competent treatment. And I'm 100% convinced of that here. I think sometimes it also helps to remind yourself why you go to a veterinary practice in the first place: not primarily to be emotionally reassured, but so that your pet receives the best possible care. I took my cat to the vet today and I'm absolutely thrilled. The vet and her assistant were incredibly kind and empathetic, and they took plenty of time for me. It was immediately clear that they genuinely care about the animals' well-being. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt completely at ease. You don't find such friendly and warm care everywhere. Thank you so much for the wonderful treatment.

Many thanks to Dr. Schäfer and her wonderful team!! We came to the practice because our Labrador kept getting ear infections. Dr. Schäfer took an incredible amount of time and helped us a lot. We, and especially our Hugo, feel very comfortable at this practice. 👍👍
