A veterinarian with a real heart and my absolute savior in a time of need – he deserves top marks! I was in an extremely desperate situation with my cat Mistik, who had been diagnosed with the painful dental disease FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions). That it even came to this is due to a long history: Our five or more cats had been treated by Timo Weiß in Kesselstadt for years, and I never questioned anything. Two years ago, he extracted seven teeth from my cat Boncuk. When, after barely a year, I was suddenly told that more teeth needed to be extracted, I became suspicious. I took Boncuk to the specialist practice of Dr. Ines Ott, Dr. Rack, and Mr. Sarikaya for a check-up. There, I was shocked: The specialists discovered that the work in Kesselstadt had been massively botched. The teeth had been removed completely without prior X-rays and extremely unhygienically. The remaining root fragments in the jaw led to serious complications, which is why Boncuk ultimately lost almost all of his remaining teeth – a treatment that cost me a hefty 2,400 euros. The practice offered me the option of paying in installments, for which I was and still am very grateful. The team is also very dedicated and always committed to resolving your concerns immediately. Especially Ms. Walther. Alarmed by this botched job, I also had Mistik examined, who then diagnosed FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions). Due to the necessary change of insurance provider, my reimbursement for the first year was capped at a maximum of €1,000. When the specialist clinic presented a cost estimate of over €2,000, I was facing a financial wall and had to cancel. While their high-end medical care is top-notch, it's simply unaffordable for someone on a tight budget. I then contacted veterinarians in the surrounding area, asking for a budget of €800, but received absolutely no response. Nothing! My last resort was the Hanau animal shelter. A huge thank you to Ms. Kathrin Totsche, who responded immediately and, thanks to her excellent connections, warmly recommended Dr. Sahrmann's practice to me. The animal shelter here does invaluable, highly empathetic work for both animals and people in the region. When I called the practice in a complete panic, I spoke to Ms. Martina Schmid at reception. You can immediately tell she has enormous expertise and decades of experience: she instantly assessed my emergency, showed absolute empathy, and despite a completely full schedule, decided: "Come in anyway, we'll do it!" For me, the sun came out again in that moment. Mistik's surgery took place today, and Dr. Sahrmann took an incredible amount of time for him despite being fully booked. The result and the value for money left me speechless: complete dental cleaning, tartar removal, two X-rays, the extraction of six teeth including examination and medication – all for an unbelievable, almost unbelievable 360 ​​euros! Dr. Sahrmann not only made life beautiful and pain-free for my Mistik today, but also made it possible for me to have this urgently needed procedure done in the first place. Someone like Dr. Sahrmann... Sahrmann and his team must be truly inspiring. It would be wonderful if this practice took on interns to train good, empathetic veterinarians, guided by their excellent example, who prioritize animal welfare and humanity above all else. It's a shame you can't give six stars! I thank every single member of staff and Dr. Sahrmann from the bottom of my heart. As a small token of my appreciation, I'll send the team their next lunch from Pizzeria Calimero at Heumarkt. They simply have the best sucuk pizzas, among other things. Enjoy your meal – you more than deserve it! Great respect for this outstanding work!

Dr. Sahrmann is a fantastic, highly competent veterinarian whom we've had for over 20 years. Unfortunately, the extremely rude receptionist, Ms. Schmidt, makes it impossible to get an appointment, as she accuses you of going to other veterinarians. Excuse me, but my horse was just being treated there! There are indeed many unfriendly people, but Ms. Schmidt is truly the worst.

Great vet, very knowledgeable! Practice is always full, so get there early. Price is a little high, but our pets health is worth it.

A fantastic veterinarian with a great deal of empathy and understanding. Just like his entire team. I've been going to him since the beginning, which must be 18 years, and I've never been dissatisfied or felt mistreated. You can discuss and weigh up all the options with him. He's a vet with his heart in the right place. We are very satisfied and would recommend him 100%.
