Reviews
Thank you for all the positive reviews shared! We trusted the reviews and changed our vet. Now we are assured again by a competent and caring vet. Dr Hornig is truly the best. Dont hesitate to clear your doubts with him. Our cat is better again due to his personalized service. Our cat also loved exploring the beautiful garden before going into the examination room. :)
Very satisfied with Dr Hornig. His experience and erudition confirm my trust.
Awesome! Credit where credit is due, unfortunately you can only give 5 stars. Anyone who says otherwise simply doesn't know what they're talking about. Luna says thank you :D!
For me, there's no other vet. Very friendly, takes his time, explains everything wonderfully. More affordable than many other vets. For me, he's the best vet I've ever met. Whenever someone asks me for a good vet, I always recommend Mr. Hornig. And everyone has thanked me for the recommendation afterward and are also thrilled with this vet. Super vet, super practice. Keep up the good work, Mr. Hornig!
A very experienced and honest veterinarian. He's not exactly cheap, like probably every veterinarian, whether for animals or humans. But I appreciate that he doesn't charge significantly more than online pharmacies that sell prescription tick medication. The price still feels high, but not because he's getting rich off medications, but simply because they're apparently so expensive to buy. I also think it's great that he doesn't try to sell the entire product range, but only recommends what makes sense for the cat. To give you a rough idea of the value for money: Our cat (who goes outside) had one illness (infection) in the last 12 months that was noticed during his routine check-up. A follow-up appointment was necessary a week later. We also needed three sets of tick protection and one course of antibiotics this year. In total, we spent around €250-350 on veterinary care and medication. This applies to a generally healthy animal. Of course, it would certainly be more for animals with serious illnesses. Compared to other vets, it seems fair to me, even though €250+ feels like a lot, it's realistically fair. Like I said, what I like is when they don't constantly try to sell me something. That's true of this vet; he only recommends something when it really makes sense.
