I don't understand the negative reviews at all. We've been coming to this practice with our cats for several years. And my parents with their dogs. We're always more than satisfied. Dr. Horst Lengnick is not only super nice to both pets and owners, but also extremely competent. Whether it's everyday things like vaccinations or diagnoses like bone cancer, he's there for you even in difficult times. We wouldn't entrust our animals to anyone else. Do not take your pet to this veterinarian. Animals are not loved here, but seen and treated like objects! I am deeply shocked by how we, as family members, were treated. We brought our pet in, and the receptionist/medical assistant was very friendly and approached us with full awareness of our pet's critical condition. Despite multiple phone calls, we were rudely turned away when we arrived with our very sick dog. Here's a more detailed account of what happened: Our dog's condition deteriorated rapidly due to his age. Our usual veterinary clinic was full, and since we couldn't wait due to his condition, we looked for another one. We had contacted this clinic four times by phone, once even five minutes before our arrival. Everything seemed to be in order. When we arrived, the vet rudely and arrogantly threw us out, actually slamming the door in our faces. He said the dog was too sick to come in just before his lunch break. The dog's condition had been mentioned on the phone. They should have told us that on the phone; it was a complicated trip for a sick dog! But the worst part was the arrogant disrespect of yelling at us and throwing us out. Suddenly, the vet also mentioned water damage, which hadn't been mentioned on the phone. Mistakes happen to all of us, but being mistakenly sent home doesn't make me nearly as angry as the vet's behavior.
