I said to my husband...we should really leave a review for the practice soon. My husband said...no, then everyone will go there and we won't be able to get an appointment so easily...😂 We have an old Doberman bitch from an animal shelter. Very poor condition, lots and lots of issues. 😢 We ended up at this family-run practice by chance. In one of (unfortunately, several) emergency situations for our dog. Dr. Leischnig is a very experienced veterinarian. We can only say good things. Our "Doberman" isn't our first dog, and to be honest, we're quite demanding when it comes to her veterinary care because, due to her age, we don't have insurance and pay for everything privately. Here we experience competent treatment, respect, ample time for us as "dog parents," empathy...but also no pointless, expensive experiments, and yet always sound advice. Therefore, a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Leischnig and his team. Thank you for your commitment and support.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Leischnig. When our cat developed a uterine infection, we couldn't find a veterinarian in Chemnitz who could help us on short notice on a Thursday. Despite the difficult situation, he took our cat on as an emergency case. She was thoroughly examined and treated on the very first day. She received three injections to stabilize her condition. The necessary surgery was performed the following morning at 8:00 a.m. We were particularly impressed not only by the quick and competent medical care, but also by the loving way our cat was treated. Although she was very agitated and constantly tried to escape, Dr. Leischnig remained calm, patient, and caring. We also found the treatment to be very reasonably priced. Above all, we are convinced that without this prompt assistance, our cat would probably not be alive today. Thank you so much for the excellent care, the quick help, and your great dedication. We wholeheartedly recommend this practice. ❤️

We've been very happy with this veterinary practice for about 20 years. Today I took our cat for a check-up at a scheduled appointment, and everything went perfectly, just as expected. Why am I writing a review today? Because there was an incident in the waiting area that was truly outrageous… A woman and a man, around 70 years old, came in with a cat. Their first complaint was that they had an appointment, which they didn't actually have… They were then offered the option of coming back in the afternoon, which they angrily refused, claiming they had to go to work for the late shift. The two of them insulted the receptionist and expected to get their way with their demanding and extremely unfriendly manner… Then they slammed their carrier bag down on the counter and demanded that the receptionist look at the cat. They claimed it was so thin and emaciated because it hadn't eaten in 14 days. Compared to mine, which weighs 2.8 kg due to an overactive thyroid, hers, at least twice the weight, simply looked "fed up." After an endless discussion with the doctor, they finally stormed out of the practice, fuming, and threw the carrier, cat and all, against a flowerpot. Some people behave terribly and still expect help. I have absolutely no understanding for that kind of behavior. Dr. Leischnig's practice is always very helpful and friendly, and I highly recommend it to people who can behave and express themselves appropriately. Please keep up the good work and don't let people like that get you down.
