We thank Dr. Böckel for the very successful cruciate ligament surgery on our dog Balu (French Bulldog), who can now play and romp around as he pleases. It's a very nice team, and scheduling appointments was always arranged in a way that worked for us, even though we had a bit of a drive. Balu and family say thank you!

This was our first time at the clinic in Chemnitz, and what can we say? Dr. Böckel and the entire team were extremely friendly and very gentle with our dog. A cruciate ligament surgery was planned. Since such a procedure, involving anesthesia, is not without risk, several tests and preliminary examinations are necessary, just as with humans. It's important to be aware of the costs beforehand. The clinic is fully equipped with CT scans, X-rays, a lab, etc. You get a clear diagnosis within half an hour. The costs of the surgery and the preliminary examinations are explained transparently. In the end, it turned out that our dog couldn't have the surgery due to very high inflammation levels—better that than risk losing him because of the anesthesia. So far, we can only say positive things about the clinic. We didn't get the impression that unnecessary tests were being performed just to make money. Veterinary clinics are more expensive than regular private veterinarians, but they also bill according to a fee schedule. Animal hospitals are more expensive than regular veterinary practices, but they also bill according to a fee schedule. Sadly, our Simon didn't make it. We went to the doctor for cruciate ligament surgery, and then, based on blood test results, a devastating diagnosis was made during the MRI. Many thanks to Dr. Linke and Dr. Böckel and the entire team for the loving care of our beloved Simon. Unfortunately, no one can perform miracles, but he was in good hands.

We are very satisfied. Our dogs have been patients there for a while now (orthopedics and internal medicine). The team is incredibly kind to the animals and takes plenty of time with them. We feel well cared for and advised.

We suspected our dog had something stuck in her esophagus. We were able to come in immediately, and she was examined. The entire team was wonderful! Our dog isn't usually fond of strangers, but here she was very relaxed. We received a professional assessment and advice on what to do next. Regarding costs: Yes, treatments cost money. They do for humans, too. We consider the cost of the treatment here to be perfectly normal. Thank you, dear team! 💚

Two knee surgeries on his hind legs due to torn cruciate ligaments. Two fantastic results! Thank you to Dr. Böckel's friendly team. Thank you that our loyal companion can once again roam pain-free with us through the Ore Mountains forests. 😊
