Out of uncertainty and fear for my dog, I tried to contact an emergency veterinary service. A number from the website was unreachable, and then I ended up with this particular vet. I spoke to a woman on the phone. I was very friendly and asked if they were on call because I was worried about my little dog. She very rudely informed me that they weren't on duty and that this was no reason to bother her. Her tone was very assertive. In a situation where you're already in a state of high anxiety because it concerns your beloved pet, this is the worst thing that can happen. Shortly after, she hung up, and I still hadn't been given any information about who else I could contact. I can't comment on the veterinarian at this practice, as I've never been there and wouldn't go there again after this phone call.
