Ok
Dr. Amrhein has already been a great help to me and my cats, showing great understanding for a mishap I had; thankfully, the injury healed well. I also get the impression that the well-being of dogs and cats is genuinely important to her. Sometimes the vet seems a bit stressed; perhaps another assistant wouldn't be a bad idea. All vets are expensive these days, so I don't want to judge based on that. However, I think it's worth mentioning that you can drop in for walk-in appointments without an appointment.
Our vet's substitute, got a quick appointment by phone, very friendly and caring, as always, my Shelties were relaxed.
We've been taking our cats Mimi and Leo to Dr. Amrhein since 2021 and couldn't wish for a better vet. She is incredibly loving with the animals, always takes plenty of time, and treats each animal individually. You can immediately tell that she doesn't just "work through the cracks," but that genuine interest and care are behind her approach. We especially appreciate that she explains everything clearly and takes the time to answer questions thoroughly. This makes you feel valued as an owner and well-supported – even with more complex issues. We are so grateful to have such a dedicated, competent, and warm-hearted veterinarian by our side. Highly recommended!
I was looking for a new vet and was convinced by the good reviews. However, I didn't receive very good service. I took my cat there and paid €80, only to find out that her bottom was clean and her fur was healthy. There was no urinalysis, no ultrasound, no blood test, nothing at all. These are all standard procedures that should be performed during a check-up. For €80, I expected more.
