A truly fantastic veterinarian. He always takes his time with his patients and answers every question. I've been taking my two dogs to him since 2007 and have always received excellent advice. His practice is very well-equipped, allowing for a wide range of diagnoses. His prices are also very reasonable and offer excellent value for money. He always has a good solution for every problem, and his interaction with patients is exemplary, regardless of size, whether dog, small animal, or cat. Furthermore, he is always available for house calls, and his practice is easily accessible thanks to the elevator, even for very large dogs or those who can't manage stairs. All in all, highly recommended.
Unfortunately, we had to have our dog put down during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our usual vet wasn't allowed to make house calls at that time. I then called several practices within a 20-kilometer radius. Dr. Schwesig was the most affordable of them all (even though he had to drive 10 kilometers further than a vet who has her practice here in town, he was €50 cheaper. The other vets I called were even more expensive!). He came to our garden, examined the dog there, and gave him the injection. We then chatted for a while. Dr. Schwesig took his time, was friendly, and empathetic. Since then, we've been taking our other dog to him and highly recommend Dr. Schwesig.
Dr. Schwesig is a very good veterinarian. He always demonstrates great competence, experience, and dedication. I've been going there with my cat for 14 years. Highly recommended.
Dr. Schwesig is one of the best veterinarians in Detmold, in my opinion. I brought my dog to him in an emergency. He took us in immediately and didn't turn us away like some other vets. I'm also seeing him now with our cat, and he lets him do anything to him, even though he's usually very timid around strangers. Dr. Schwesig is incredibly loving towards animals and truly cares about them. He takes his time and is always there to offer advice. Thank you so much, and see you soon!
Damn good vet and damn humane. We went to another one for three weeks. Besides paying a lot of money, our dog was getting worse. Since we saw Dr. Schwesig for the first time on Thursday, he's slowly getting better. Thank you so much.
