Best veterinary in Kassel. Of he can't solve the problem, nobody in Kassel can.
Don't go here! His arrogance, rudeness, and social incompetence are unparalleled. This vet is awful. We were there for an emergency; we don't usually go to Kassel. He doesn't look at you, doesn't listen, constantly interrupts, and tries to talk you into something mid-sentence while you're explaining your situation. He keeps turning to the window while he's talking and paces back and forth in a strange way, as if he's trying to brush you off. If you ask questions, you feel like you're bothering him. He has no interest in the animal's well-being. ...In the end, we just asked him for some professional advice on how to help our dog urinate/where to touch him to make emptying his bladder easier. He replied in a passive-aggressive, snarky tone: "Pfft. Well, I'd like to continue my appointments now." This vet is truly completely unempathetic. The only positive thing was the friendly assistants at the practice.
My friend called Dr. Erler yesterday evening around 6:00 PM with an emergency. Her Irish Wolfhound had been attacked by a wild boar. And the response to this EMERGENCY was a REFUSE. ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ The dog had a large muscle tear near her intestine, and this vet didn't deem it NECESSARY to provide immediate help ‼️‼️‼️‼️ This is an absolute disgrace to both the person and the animal, and a disgrace to the veterinary profession. A complete disgrace to this person 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 I wouldn't even go there if it were free ‼️
A super competent avian veterinarian. We've been taking our pair of red-capped parrots to him for years. Whether it's for nail trimming or, most recently, for Bella's beak injury, which he surgically shortened and adjusted, we're always extremely satisfied. The entire team is also incredibly friendly and always makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommended! 👍🏼
I took my dog there for the first time because of acute abdominal pain. He was x-rayed, and the vet said he had a slipped disc, without discussing or showing me the images. He gave him three injections, supposedly for the acute pain. Despite this, my dog was still in pain. The next morning, I took the x-rays to a different vet, and he immediately recognized that my dog had gastritis, which was clearly visible on the x-rays I had brought with me. I've since learned through conversations with other dog owners that I'm not the first person this has happened to at this practice. Without mentioning the vet's name, he immediately gave me this vet's name. Shocking! I'm also very saddened by what I'm reading here, and I will never go back to this vet because, in my opinion, he's only out for profit.
