We are very happy with Dr. Hupp. Our 7-year-old cat, Bart, had bad teeth. Dr. Hupp took plenty of time during the initial consultation, and after the prescribed painkillers and medication for the bacterial infection in his mouth, he was already feeling better. A few days later, the surgery took place. Bart was wide awake when we picked him up, and the veterinarian explained exactly what she had done, what we needed to be aware of during aftercare, and patiently answered all our questions. She also changed his antibiotic, as Bart had developed severe diarrhea from the old one, and prescribed tablets for his stomach health and gave us painkillers. Just one day after the surgery, Bart was back to his old self; he wanted to eat everything, and that went smoothly. We received the blood test results by phone today, and thankfully, everything is fine. We have insurance for our three cats. Dr. Hupp's bill was absolutely reasonable; to be honest, we thought it would be more expensive. She also has very friendly and patient veterinary assistants on her team. Therefore, we give you 5 stars and a heartfelt thank you for the excellent work.

Our guinea pig had its eye removed. After the surgery, Ms. Hupp took excellent care of him—the eye had to be rinsed every day for two weeks. Proper treatment and patience helped our guinea pig tremendously. Our little guy is alive and well, despite the initial complications. Thank you so much for everything. Best regards from Boss and his family

A good vet who lovingly cares for the animals. The staff is always kind, friendly, and accommodating. Waiting times are short, and it's rare to be able to make an appointment. The vet is very knowledgeable. You can pay by card. The parking lot is in front of the building and secured by a barrier. However, the staff gives you a chip that allows you to leave the premises free of charge. Otherwise, there's a parking fee. The vet had to shave our old cat, Theo, once a year. An appointment was required for this. And he was always ashamed of it 😉 Unfortunately, she later had to put him down 😢

0 Stars – Rude and completely uncooperative employee I had a confirmed appointment with the pediatricians in the same building via an appointment app and received confirmation by email. Upon arrival, I discovered the practice was closed. Since both practices share the same parking lot with a barrier, and exit is only possible with a parking token or two one-euro coins, I couldn't leave without coins. I politely approached the veterinary practice and greeted them. The employee ignored my greeting, seemed visibly annoyed, and simply said, "Wait a moment." After explaining my situation and politely requesting a parking token, this was flatly refused with the explanation that I was "not a customer" and it was "not your problem." No understanding, no willingness to compromise, and a very unfriendly tone. I then had to go to nearby shops to find coins and be able to leave the parking lot. Very unprofessional and disappointing behavior.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Ms. Hupp. I took my 8-month-old cat to be spayed, thinking she was perfectly healthy, and assumed it would be a routine procedure. What I got back was a sick cat. To start with, the stitches looked very unprofessional, something I'd never seen on any cat before, but that's the least of my worries. The spaying was a week and a half ago. Since then, the cat's condition has been steadily worsening; she can't keep down food or water. I took the cat back to Ms. Hupp twice after the surgery. The first time, the wound was drained due to fluid buildup. This was done without my presence, as I was sent to the waiting room. I didn't find this very reassuring. Two days later, I took the cat back because the wound was swollen again and she had started vomiting. This time, according to Ms. Hupp, the wound looked normal. It looked exactly the same as it had two days prior, when a drainage tube was necessary. I can't understand this. My cat, who had never vomited before since I got her, has been doing so continuously for several days. This was simply ignored. The wound doesn't feel like a stitch, but more like a loop of intestine. According to her, it's the abdominal wall suture. I've decided to change vets because I can't and won't subject my cat to dehydration any longer in temperatures approaching 30 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, I tried to speak with Ms. Hupp again. On the phone, she was completely unsympathetic and brushed me off, saying we "won't reach an agreement." In my opinion, anyone looking for a reputable vet who doesn't change their mind about the situation daily is in the wrong place here.
