A very, very nice practice team. My dog and I feel very well cared for and receive competent advice. For complicated diagnoses/treatment plans, Ms. Pruß-Simon is happy to seek a second opinion to confirm them. We highly recommend them.
Great doctor, great team 👍 We've been coming to the practice for many years. First with our Collie, then with our Siamese cat. We're very lucky to have such a good vet. Everything is just right at the practice 👍😻👍
I've been going to her with our four rabbits for four years. In my opinion, she's the best vet I know! She treated my rabbit's abscess very well and saved her life! Simply a fantastic practice with fantastic staff!!! September 21, 2023 Addendum: Dr. Pruss also saved my rabbit's life a second time after she had gas! I'm very grateful to her!!!! We called and were seen right away! THANK YOU to the team!
I'm deeply disappointed on a personal level. Besides a diagnosis I found hard to believe, I received what I consider an unethical offer: I should leave the cat there, he would be cared for, and then put up for adoption. There was no offer of payment plans or any other form of assistance. Instead, I was visited by the veterinary authorities due to alleged animal welfare concerns. In the meantime, I had gone to another vet who took x-rays, explained the diagnosis to me – a cruciate ligament tear, not a fracture! – and also told me it would be expensive if I had surgery. (He gave me painkillers and sent me home.) She discharged me without medication, which I received a week later. The relationship of trust is completely ruined. On a human level, this is a complete failure in my opinion. Even if the animal's welfare is supposedly the top priority, the pet owner shouldn't be treated so disrespectfully. I'm not the only person who can't afford these exorbitant prices, or can barely afford them, if they don't have insurance. . . . . . ... Animal welfare is generally paramount, but to say "if you don't have the money, don't get a pet"... well, I would argue that animal shelters and rehoming centers would then be even more overcrowded because more people would have to give up their animals.
