Castration of a pony stallion. Mr. Meyer arrived with an assistant, and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. Everything went smoothly, from the anesthesia and the surgery itself to the pony waking up and getting back on its feet. The team really took their time and addressed all our questions and concerns. We are very satisfied and are looking forward to our horses' dental check-up appointment next week.

My twelve-year-old dog had broken a tooth, with half of it still attached. As a new client, I called the practice and was able to go right away. The dog is from an animal shelter and is very anxious about certain things. The attending veterinarian, Mr. Kutscher, calmed her fears with his calm manner. Once she was anesthetized for the tooth extraction, a few other minor procedures were performed immediately. Following precise instructions for home, the dog recovered very quickly from the anesthesia. Thank you again for the quick, friendly, and perfectly executed treatment. We will definitely be back!

I took my dog ​​to the practice yesterday after suddenly noticing at home that she was constantly puddling and was obviously in pain. My first call was to the local emergency vet in the Altmark district (it was a Friday evening). They said an examination was possible, but only for an immediate cash payment of €200. To be honest, that irritated me a bit; it didn't really feel like a welcoming "we'll take care of it right away" feeling. Fortunately, I'd heard positive things about the Otto Meyer practice through word of mouth. I called and was able to walk in right away. Although I arrived shortly before closing time, I was greeted warmly and seen after a short wait. The doctor and nurses seemed very competent and took their time: palpation, urine analysis, everything was thorough and professional. We first received a painkiller with an anti-inflammatory effect, which was exactly what provided immediate relief for my dog. She was already feeling significantly better that night, and today she's practically a different person. Another plus point: The practice insists on cash payments, but since I didn't have any cash with me, I can easily settle the bill next week. This shows trust and humanity. And I can call them again anytime. The entire team was warm, patient, and loving in their interactions with my dog. I felt truly taken seriously and in good hands. Highly recommended!
