Reviews
Dr. Liedl was very unfriendly at first. Perhaps it was because I was only seeing her as a substitute. Cash payments weren't accepted. She said the fees for a card reader were too high! I didn't receive a receipt.
Admittedly, this vet isn't particularly good with people. But she doesn't need to be – her job isn't to please me, but to treat my animal well. Animals can't defend themselves, after all. And that's precisely where she excels. The fact that she sometimes gets a bit snappy because we seem to be doing everything wrong – so be it. In hindsight, she's often right, if you're honest with yourself. She's completely pro-animal and their voice. If the vet scolds me and my pet gives me an approving look – well, why should I get so upset? I'm happy if I can learn something new. Her focused examination and treatment are particularly positive. If an ear is infected, she doesn't x-ray the hip. I've taken another animal to other vets – they ran through the entire diagnostic process, everything the clinic has to offer, only to end up with a huge bill for a "mosquito bite." I'm deducting one star because they only accept cash. An option to pay by invoice might be a useful addition.
I actually wanted to stay with her. She really tried hard the first time. But after something was found in my cat's blood, she called me and wanted to make an appointment right away. When I hesitated, she said, "Then not until the weekend." I'm going to get a second opinion from the vet I usually go to. It's a shame they don't accept card payments. The bill doesn't come automatically either; you always have to ask. It was only because my usual vet wasn't there. I'm going back to her because I trust her more. I went to my usual vet, who helped my cat immediately. I was also surprised that it was so quiet. Dr. [Name] could be a bit nicer.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Liedl. Finally, a veterinarian who is truly competent and gets by without any unnecessary frills. There's no pressure to buy anything or artificially prolong the process – no money-making schemes, just honest, well-founded medicine that truly serves the animal's best interests. I have three dogs – and one of them is really difficult with vets. Even that wasn't a problem at all here. You can immediately tell that Dr. Liedl has a wealth of experience and a genuine feel for animals. Her approach is calm, relaxed, confident, and attentive. I've been to her three times now with different dogs and various issues – and each time it's been excellent. Exactly what you want. What I particularly appreciate is her straightforwardness. Questions are answered clearly, directly, and without evasion. Afterward, you know exactly where you stand and what's truly necessary – and what isn't. For anyone looking for a veterinarian who truly helps instead of just treating: I highly recommend her.
I am thrilled with this competent veterinarian; her empathetic approach helped alleviate my cat's fear and save her life. After a misdiagnosis by another practice, she helped us tremendously with excellent diagnosis, treatment, and advice. Thank you so much! I highly recommend her!
