The best and most compassionate veterinarian I know. No matter the animal—dog, cat, mouse, guinea pig, rabbit, etc.—he takes his time and is so loving and empathetic towards both the animals and their owners, explaining everything in detail. His love for animals is truly palpable. ❤️ We feel more than well cared for. Five stars aren't enough! ❣️ ❤️🐶🐱🐰🐹🐭❤️ I'm so sad that he's no longer our trusted vet. 😥 I wish him all the very best for his future! 🎉🥳

Our dog had a severe bladder and intestinal infection, and despite our patient status, we were only offered an appointment in a month. The dog has severe diarrhea—up to six times a night—and a serious bladder infection. Such a long wait is unacceptable for an acutely ill animal, as prompt treatment was urgently needed. Although the veterinarian is otherwise very competent, this handling of emergencies is completely incomprehensible and disappointing. In my opinion, this is unacceptable, and therefore, I cannot recommend this practice.

This review is from January 2022. I've now seen that the review was blocked due to alleged violations. I then removed the photo of my mink from the review, and voila, it "arrived." Entry from January 22: Up until now, I was quite impressed with the practice... Today, I felt a bit overwhelmed, and now I'm not so enthusiastic... First, I have to manage to get someone on the phone... without an appointment, which isn't easy with urgent matters... Then they force us in... that Dr. Reinert comes and not Dr. Pöhland is a shock. When I explained that I actually wanted to see Dr. Pöhland, I was told I could make another appointment... But we're not there for no reason, and a new trip won't help my dog either... After describing the situation and conducting a general examination, no cause could be determined... Without further consultation, a blood sample was taken... After 20 minutes, the blood tests also showed no cause for my dog's discomfort... Only his breathing or heart rate was slowed... The dog received three injections and 15 antibiotic tablets, and I paid €154. Unfortunately, I can no longer afford the Pohland practice... it's a shame it turned out this way... Today (three weeks later) I found my beloved Mink dead in his bed... January 17, 2022

The very best vet!!! A very empathetic and competent vet who always takes plenty of time and explains everything thoroughly. I'm so happy and grateful that he always took such great care of my cats, but I'm also incredibly sad that he won't be practicing at the clinic at the end of July 😔 I wish him all the best and thank him for the loving care he gave my furry friends.
