Tierärztliche Praxis Dr. med. vet. Elke Grothues

Although I'm not a regular customer, I was able to drop by spontaneously one Saturday morning with my dog. Ms. Grothues and her assistant gave us a friendly welcome, thoroughly examined my dog, and provided me with expert advice. Ms. Grothues even contacted me personally on Monday to check on my dog's well-being. Unfortunately, that's not something you see in independent businesses these days. This deserves 5 stars.

I've been taking my two cats to Dr. Grothues for a very long time. She's a very competent veterinarian, and I can highly recommend her practice. Many years ago, she saved my cat Max's life (he was two years old at the time) due to kidney failure. He was hospitalized for two nights, and I was able to visit him twice a day without any problems. Thanks to a change in diet, he hasn't had any kidney problems since (Max will be 13 in September). His sister, Bijou, is the same age. Both of them receive regular vaccinations and dental checkups, as required. Bijou had one extremely loose canine tooth. It was hanging by a thread. With local anesthetic, the loose tooth was easily removed without any pain for my little darling. So, all in all, Dr. Grothues and her staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The animals are treated with empathy, consideration, and patience, and every question you ask is answered clearly and understandably. ... I am so happy and relieved that my cats are in such good hands. Thank you so much for the wonderful care. I have already recommended you several times (and have only ever received positive feedback), and I would continue to do so. I should also mention that only necessary and appropriate examinations are performed.

This veterinary practice has been a trusted resource for me and my animals for years. They are experts even on the smallest hamsters. A very good practice.
