Reviews
I am very happy to have this competent veterinarian right nearby. We ALWAYS get an appointment at short notice and receive thorough and very friendly advice and care.
We have taken our dog to Dr. Schönball several times and are very satisfied. She takes a lot of time and patiently answers all our questions. We feel very well cared for by her, both professionally and personally.
Very helpful, empathetic, and competent. Unlike my usual doctor's office, there are no set opening hours for sick patients here; they also provide care outside of regular office hours! I am very grateful for the prompt assistance and can highly recommend this doctor!
My cat would have died yesterday because of this incompetent practice. He had a terrible accident; his paw was torn off, and his innards were sticking out of it. He had lost a lot of blood. My cat was sent home from this practice with anesthetic. They had asked beforehand whether he should be put down, so they already knew he wouldn't survive. They had scheduled a surgery for the next day in Wilster. When I called, Dr. Schönball tried to protect her colleagues by telling me that euthanasia hadn't been mentioned. She spoke to me in an aggressive tone and when I asked why the operation couldn't take place on the same day, all she replied was "we made an appointment based on the clinic's expertise". It was important to me that my cat survived. Dr Schönball said he wouldn't die and told me in passing that she didn't call everywhere and that I should try the clinic in Wasbek. After I called, I sent photos to Wasbek and they said that he needed to be admitted to hospital immediately and operated on, otherwise he would die overnight. What do you say now, Dr Schönball? I can only say it's good for you that he survived, otherwise I would have taken legal action against you. I hope you take this to heart and act accordingly the next time there is an EMERGENCY!!!
A very good vet... my dog had acute kidney failure and was dehydrated two years ago. She wanted to x-ray her uterus the next day, but my dog wouldn't have lived to see it. Yesterday, out of sheer desperation, we asked her to come to us—it's only about 100 meters away—because my girl was so ill. She refused. Well, what can I say? Our dog is dead. She died yesterday because she wasn't a patient, and apparently, the trip to our neighbor's was too far for Ms. Schönball. So everyone should form their own opinion about this vet!
