We brought our horse to this practice suffering from a high temperature and a lame leg. They only administered injections and medication. We repeatedly asked what else we could do and pointed out that injections couldn't be the real solution, as the horse's condition wasn't improving but worsening. However, we received no response and continued with the injections. Furthermore, the vet's behavior was curt and arrogant. We decided on our own to take our horse to the clinic in Leichlingen, as its condition was deteriorating. At the Leichlingen clinic, we felt much better cared for. Unfortunately, it was too late. The next day, we had to make the difficult decision to have our horse euthanized. We still had to pay the bill for the unnecessary injections, even those given the day before.

Dr. Gerlach and his team do a fantastic job. I highly recommend the practice, especially for dental treatments. Dental checkups are carried out very carefully. The care of the teeth and the removal of baby teeth are also carried out with precision. Highly recommended.

A huge thank you for the quick and expert help! Thanks to the thorough diagnosis and treatment of our horse's lameness, we were able to restore our pony's quality of life and make him sound again. The readily available emergency service ensured our pony received prompt help with his colic, and we always felt well-advised and cared for throughout his protracted tendon injury. There was never any doubt that this was the right veterinary practice for providing optimal care for our horse! Just a few days into my new stable, I received word at work on Saturday that my horse had injured himself. After cleaning and flushing all the wounds myself, I was certain that emergency veterinary care was necessary. As a new horse owner, I didn't yet have a vet, and the clinic that had issued the health certificates before my move had already informed me that they didn't operate in this area. So I called Equine Health Care... late on a Saturday evening in truly awful, cold weather, and without being a "patient" there, and I actually received professional help in just over half an hour. My horse received prompt and expert care. The vet was calm and gentle with her, and the bandage applied across her entire front leg is so effective that it will last through the second day. Since, like probably many horse owners, I only had my horse on my mind at that moment, I unfortunately forgot to ask the vet's name, but I hope that when she reads this review, she'll know who I'm referring to. Many thanks from Flöhchen, who was feeling much better today. I hope that I can become a regular patient of yours in the future.

Even a patient not on the patient's books received quick and competent help in an emergency (colic), outside of normal business hours. The emergency service offered is therefore a major plus! The price is also reasonable. Thank you again!
