Honestly, probably the best vet experience I’ve ever had. We speak little to no German, which was not a problem at all. Rebecca, the vet, was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. She was able to handle my two very vet adverse cats in such a loving and gentle way. The least traumatic vet trip they’ve ever had. Only wishing we had found this vet prior to us leaving Munich. Thanks so much!

I have visited Filu twice with my dog for routine deworming required for UK travel. The first visit cost around €50, which already felt expensive compared to other countries (I paid about €40 and €10 for the equivalent treatment in Sweden and Italy), but at least it was within the range I expected for Germany. During the second visit, the vet asked whether I also wanted a health certificate. I hesitated because I know it is not required when travelling with a valid pet passport, and she replied that there would be no extra cost. After the weighing, inspection, and tablet administration, she returned with the passport and explained that the previous vet had “forgotten” to charge me for the mandatory health inspection, which doubled the bill to around €100. I understand vets may need to perform an examination before administering medication, but the additional charges were not explained clearly upfront. For a routine deworming appointment, the final price felt excessive. I’m sure Munich has many excellent and reasonably priced veterinarians, so unfortunately I would not return.

My overall impression of the visit itself was very positive. The approach to both the client and the animal was professional and kind, communication with the veterinarian was clear, and the facility was clean, well organized, and easy to access with good parking. What surprised me negatively were the prices. A weekend visit booked as an “emergency” cost €59.50, but this fee is not communicated anywhere during the booking process or on the website. The consultation alone was €56.22, a basic skin examination €39.28, and a basic eye examination €32.70. For the treatment of a hamster, this felt very expensive - even though we care deeply about our pet. I strongly suggest providing any form of price list or clear cost information upfront. I was surprised, and the customer before me paying €1,200 for a dog’s dental cleaning was likely even more so. Thank you, and all the best.

A very good clinic. The sterilization procedure and follow-up were carried out at a very high level, without any complications. Minor disagreements were resolved immediately in a friendly atmosphere. I'm glad I trusted the Filu team!!!
