Reviews
A very kind and caring veterinarian specializing in eyes and teeth! Very friendly staff. We go here several times a year because of our dog's eye condition and are happy to make the two-hour round trip. Thank you for being there ❤️.
We've been bringing our four-legged patients to this practice for many years: first our two old ladies, and later our three young, energetic cats, who initially had constant wounds and injuries. We were practically regulars. 🙄 And we are, and always have been, very, very happy to have Dr. Küfner and the entire team, who dedicate themselves with all their experience and empathy. We gladly make the trip from Hummeltal to Gräfenthal. 😜
Ms. Küffner is very caring, competent, and sensitive to animals and their people.
Beware of rip-offs!!! Dear Ms. Küfner, I would like to briefly inform you that yesterday, September 9, 2023, at 6:15 p.m., we had to put my cat Wuschel to sleep for good. An X-ray and ultrasound scan yesterday revealed the presence of fluid in his abdomen. Subsequently, his abdomen was punctured, and the result was urine in his abdomen due to a leaking bladder. Wuschel was already so weak and devastated that he could no longer be kept alive (urine poisoning). We then had him put down. I had already informed you last Wednesday, September 6, 2023, that there was a gurgling sound in his abdomen. Your response to this was, "I don't know what to do." I also reported this noise in his abdomen on Thursday and Friday, and you were again unable to even begin to palpate his abdomen or examine it properly. Saturday morning, we were all helpless again at home, and I went back to them and told them again that he had water in his stomach. They responded by saying, "I can't open him up again, it won't do any good anyway!" A colleague then tried everything to save him on Saturday morning and late afternoon, unfortunately without success. I am very disappointed with your aftercare and the way Wuschel was treated after such a serious surgery. If you had taken my advice seriously and examined Wuschel properly, he might have been saved. There's no question that complications can occur with such surgeries, and I'm of course aware of that. Instead, they brutally rip you off with exorbitant bills. I was quoted approximately €1,000.00 over the phone. The bill was €1,367. Not to mention the follow-up costs, which have to be added on top. It gives you the feeling that the animals' plight is being exploited. Yesterday, I presented your bills to two other colleagues, who just shook their heads at the amount. My little one paid with his life for your poor aftercare. I find it absolutely disgusting that you ignored my warnings. Such damned greed!
