After an odyssey of vet visits, I finally found the right one who truly helps, performs a proper diagnosis, and finds out what's wrong with my cat. Ms. Gregor, who works at the practice, acted immediately, and the biopsy turned into surgery, which hopefully removed all the inward-growing hair follicles. I'll never go anywhere else here in Wendland. Absolutely top-notch! 👍👍

We took our cat to Dr. Meywerk for spaying and were absolutely thrilled. Dr. Meywerk is very experienced, highly professional, and handled our cat very well. The service was excellent. We were able to schedule an appointment shortly before the surgery. Our cat received a thorough health check. Everything was perfect. I was then able to choose a surgery date that allowed me to pick up my cat immediately afterward. The incision was made without external sutures, so my cat was allowed outside again 24 hours later, didn't need to wear a cone, and didn't require suture removal. The surgery went wonderfully, and my cat was awake again shortly afterward. The next day, she was already quite energetic. The anesthetic had worn off. After 24 hours, she was allowed to roam outside again. The wound healed quickly and without any problems. She wasn't bothered by her scar at all. Four weeks later, we finally noticed the desired change in our young cat's behavior. She's much more relaxed now, no longer marks indoors, and is generally much more at home. We highly recommend Dr. Meywerk!

I had my horse's teeth done there for years. My mare had trouble eating and showed strong reactions in her jaw joint. She also had difficulty bending and lowering her head, especially on the right rein. The vet examined her while she was sedated and only removed a few small hooks that, according to her, shouldn't bother her. She advised us to have her jaw x-rayed. However, I then made an appointment with another equine dentist because I was certain something was wrong. My feeling was correct, and my mare had a severe wave-like bite with incisors that were much too long. I find it sad that she then said she wasn't working on the chewing surfaces to be able to grind properly. She should have noticed that her teeth were different heights and that her molars weren't making contact with her long incisors at all. As a result, my mare has suffered from headaches and jaw pain for years because she always thought her teeth were fine. This makes me really sad, and for the sake of the other horses, I would advise completing appropriate training according to IGFP standards.

A fantastic, very friendly team and excellent diagnostics. Ms. Meywerk really took her time with our cat and handled him wonderfully. She also answered every question we had as concerned owners, both during the initial consultation and in the follow-up appointments. Top-notch! Thank you so much!
