Reviews
Visited this place for the first time in February 2018 and The veterinarian Annika gave me a confidence feeling for treating my beloved dog "Max". I knew Max is in a good hand. Very sacrificed with their professional service.
Best place for cats 🐱
We regularly take our two dogs there – Ms. Carstensen is kind and accommodating, and takes her time with both animal and owner. Naturally, contact is reduced during the pandemic, but we always feel we're in good hands. Even when faced with difficult decisions, the entire team is there to offer empathetic support. We gladly travel from Flensburg to Sörup because there's no feeling of being rushed through appointments; they know our dogs there! A fantastic practice, one we searched for a long time.
We had to take our elderly cat to the emergency vet on Saturday and ended up at the Carstensen Small Animal Clinic. The vet was consistently kind, understanding, and very affectionate with our Mimi. I found the examination to be thorough and careful, and Ms. Carstensen took plenty of time. The clinic is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere.
We were patients at this practice for almost 12 years. When our dog became seriously ill and was truly suffering, we were turned away despite having an appointment. The receptionist then referred us to a veterinary clinic over the phone. The vet in Wasbek was shocked by the initial diagnosis of "kennel cough" – actually terminal lung cancer! The farewell in Sörup could have been more dignified. Not a single personal word afterwards, which is a shame! I waited nine months to leave a negative review so as not to sound harsh. The practice can provide standard care; if that's sufficient for your pet, then you're welcome here!
