This place doesn't even deserve one star. We (my mom and my husband) were there with our six puppies for their vaccination appointment. We arrived in the waiting room and there was a bit of a commotion, which is to be expected with six little Bernese Mountain Dog puppies. I simply asked my mom not to pull on the leash so much. At that point, the woman came out of the examination room and, in front of the two other waiting patients, very rudely attacked me, asking if anyone else wanted to speak to their mother like that, since she was a mother herself, and things like that. I replied that she didn't know what the relationship between my mom and me was like, and that we were there for the animals. If she had a personal problem, I couldn't say anything more. Then I was interrupted and, with a dirty laugh, told to find another vet and leave the premises immediately. ... I think this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for a veterinarian. She should be looking after the animals and helping them, not snapping at her patients just because she has ego problems or got out of bed on the wrong side. I would think twice about bringing my pet here for treatment. I've heard from many people that she's supposed to be rude, but I wanted to form my own opinion. Well, I got it…

Even though the practice is old and Dr. [Name] sometimes seems a bit odd, she's the best for me. No matter what the issue, she never forced any unnecessary procedures on me, only what was important. She's incredibly kind to the animals, tells it like it is, and I appreciate that. I've even been able to drop in without an appointment. I would take all my animals to her.

I am so grateful that we found Dr. Gümmer as our veterinarian. She was able to help both my tomcat and my cat this year. She even squeezed us in recently, even though her appointments were already full. Her calm and loving manner with the animals is impressive. Even my cat, who is usually very wary of strangers, let her examine her without any problems. For new patients, it's important to know that you have to call before coming to the appointment! Dr. Gümmer has a very unique style that takes some getting used to at first. :) But you quickly realize that she has a heart of gold, how much she cares about her work, and that it's not about the money for her, but about the well-being of her patients. I hope she continues practicing for many years to come so that we know our animals are in good hands when they are sick.

I am very grateful for the excellent treatment my bird received. The veterinarian was extremely competent, compassionate, and dedicated, and thanks to her prompt and professional assistance, my bird has made a full recovery. I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice.
