Reviews
Our Labrador retriever visited us Saturday evening due to an emergency, as Ms. Lindecke is also part of the on-call veterinary team. She was incredibly friendly on the phone, took a thorough approach, and we then drove the 20 minutes to Wachtberg. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seen immediately. Our dog underwent a comprehensive examination, and we discussed several acute treatment options. As it turned out over the course of the evening and the following day, Ms. Lindecke administered precisely the right medications and put our dog back on the road to recovery (she had a severe gastrointestinal illness). We are extremely grateful. Animals and their owners are truly in good hands here.
We regularly take our two rabbits to Dr. Lindecke. She always takes wonderful care of them. One of our rabbits is always very stressed. She takes her time with our pet and lets her hop around for a few minutes beforehand. She also takes plenty of time to answer our questions and always finds the right solution.
The entire team was incredibly kind, helpful, and caring. I found about three-week-old kittens in my shed and later their mother, whom I took in. Through the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Cat Protection Association, I was referred to the Lindecke veterinary practice, which is truly dedicated to the animals. Appointments are kept without long waiting times. If you leave a message on the answering machine outside of office hours, you receive a prompt call back. Emails are also always answered quickly. A truly positive experience! Update: We were able to catch the feral father in a live trap, and he was immediately admitted to the practice, examined, microchipped, and neutered. He now comes through the cat flap every night to eat and is welcome to stay longer if he wants.
I took my cat to the vet this morning as an emergency case because Dr. Lindecke was covering for our regular vet. Even when I called this morning, Dr. Lindecke was incredibly friendly. I didn't feel like I was bothering her or being a nuisance at all. I was able to come to the practice an hour later (after a 35-minute drive) and was immediately taken into the examination room without any waiting. Both Dr. Lindecke and her assistant were incredibly friendly and competent, and had a pleasant and calm demeanor, which naturally had a very positive effect on my cat's mood. There was a towel and a cat bed on the examination table so my cat could lie safely and comfortably on her back while her chest wound was being treated. I was kept informed about every step and the further treatment (medication, wound care, etc.) throughout the entire process. Furthermore, photos of the wound and a detailed report will be sent to our regular vet and me via email. A truly positive experience all around. You could tell how much passion went into the work and how respectfully and lovingly the animals were treated. Absolutely 100% recommended!
Friendly team, they always find a solution, even for last-minute appointment changes, etc. And a very empathetic, calm veterinarian who gives excellent advice and is extremely gentle with the animals – ideal for my somewhat anxious dog. Thank you so much for everything, the best veterinary practice we've ever had.
