Reviews
Our cat has kidney disease due to his age. We believe he receives excellent care at this practice. The whole team is very friendly and we feel very well looked after there. Highly recommended.
We brought our sick cat to the veterinary practice and felt very well cared for from the very first moment. We received an exceptionally warm welcome and were given advice in a respectful and understanding manner. All steps and related information were explained clearly and calmly, so we always felt that we were being taken seriously. Since it was a more complex case and further examinations were necessary, these were carried out on the same day, even though this meant additional time for the team. We truly appreciate this dedication and the natural way in which they took the time for our cat. Following the examination, we also received a very friendly and helpful follow-up phone consultation, during which all our questions were answered again. Thank you very much for the competent and empathetic care.
My cat Mautzi had to have all her teeth extracted a few weeks ago due to FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions). Although it was a major procedure, the empathetic and patient manner of Dr. Striehn and the practice team helped to alleviate my anxiety about the surgery. After a week, everything had largely healed, and Mautzi is now back to her old self!
Unfortunately, I had a very sad and disappointing experience with this veterinary practice. If you're not sufficiently knowledgeable about rodents, you should communicate that openly instead of performing unsafe treatments. My pet's dental infection went undetected, even though it should have been obvious. Instead of treating the underlying cause, they simply prescribed eye drops. This allowed the infection to spread further—even reaching the brain and behind the eyes, ultimately causing immense pain. That same evening, I sought emergency veterinary care from an experienced veterinarian who immediately identified the true cause. However, by that time, my pet's condition was already so critical that no treatment could save it. My pet died a painful death just one day later. By then, it was too late, and even surgery would have been futile. I am deeply shaken and disappointed by the misdiagnosis and lack of expertise in this case. This should never happen.
I took my guinea pig to the vet today and would like to thank the team for their empathy and thoroughness. Even though it's just a small pet, our guinea pig was treated with respect and dignity, and the problem was taken very seriously. I've had different experiences elsewhere. It was worth the money, and I will come back if it has any problems. Thank you so much for the loving care.
