I can't understand why everyone here writes about their excellent service? You get milked dry (even more so with pet insurance). The quality is abysmal. My dog ​​had gastritis (allegedly). They changed his food (probably because they have good contracts with VET Concept). They didn't even bother to check if everything was alright or how my dog ​​was doing. Once the gastritis was cured, I needed a certificate confirming my dog ​​was healthy again. My old insurance company had dropped me. The receptionist gave me confirmation that my dog ​​had been euthanized (which I still have as proof). On the phone, she said, "Oh, sorry. I'll correct that and send it right away." It took her two more attempts because she couldn't even write the date correctly. That was the final straw for me to switch. Now my dog ​​has died in December. I'm now convinced that the cancer started in February 2025. Nobody paid attention, and I said so many times, "Something's wrong with my dog." I paid almost €4,000 for so many examinations (oh yes, and two teeth were extracted too. Now I question whether that was necessary) and they couldn't find anything wrong?! I'm in favor of doctors being reviewed and monitored throughout the year, and some even having their licenses revoked. A doctor has taken an oath to help living beings, not to line their own pockets.

A veterinary practice where you truly feel well cared for. I am always impressed by the warmth and attentiveness of the entire team at this veterinary practice. From the moment you walk in, you sense that this isn't just a place where work is done, but where genuine love and dedication to animals are at the heart of everything they do. My cats are always addressed directly, calmed, and treated with such patience that even stressful situations are surprisingly relaxed. What I particularly appreciate is that you never feel alone here. Whether you have questions, uncertainties, or urgent concerns, you always receive support—quickly, kindly, and competently. The medical treatment is excellent: thorough, clearly explained, and always focused on the animal's well-being. A practice you can trust completely. I am grateful to have found such a place.

My dog ​​Paula is a patient of Dr. Jötzke, and I think she's the best veterinarian in Hamburg. I've had several different experiences with other vets. She always takes a lot of time for the examination and also for the consultation, and she presents a range of treatment and further diagnostic options that you can then discuss and decide on.

All my questions, including the costs (which many practices prefer to keep quiet about), were answered over the phone. Scheduling an appointment was super easy, and the lady on the phone was lovely and friendly. Email communication was always smooth and quick. The welcome was incredibly warm, the consultation was excellent, and everything was explained very clearly. I've rarely encountered such wonderful practice staff 🥰. It was great that I was allowed to be present during the anesthesia and also when my dog ​​woke up – thank you! I also received instructions for aftercare, so I wouldn't forget anything important – thank you! If my dog ​​has any further major problems, we'll see each other again, and I'll recommend you to others. Keep up your warm and welcoming approach!

5 stars aren't enough! I've never felt better cared for. You're taken seriously, and everything is explained transparently. I've rarely seen a practice or team that truly tries and does everything to ensure the well-being of both animal and owner. Ivy and I have to thank you!
