Don’t bother unless you are German and speak fluently. My dog and me were rudly thrown out with poor excuses even if I explained that I understand German but cannot speak and offered to have a friend to translate over phone. We traveled an hour to get help for my pup and just received pure discrimination. Horrible and degrading experience.

I arrived there with my dog at the opening time and there was already a long waiting list. As it was my first time there, I asked the assistant if I should make an appointment, but she told me to just wait. I made clear to her that I don't speak German, we spoke in English the whole time. I waited for almost an hour! When my name was finally called, the assistant took us to the consulting room and asked me (in English) if I allowed her to check my dog's temperature. As I was about to answer, the vet arrived and started speaking to me in German. I asked her if we could speak in English and she said she didn't speak English (and rudely added that her clinic was based in Germany). I told her I had to leave then, and she just smiled and said "OK, bye!". I am still in shock about how rude she was. First, because I'm pretty certain that she speaks English, I haven't met a doctor in Berlin that doesn't. But, ok, let's assume she's the only doctor in Berlin that doesn't know English (she understands it, though, because she understood everything I said), why did they make me wait for 50 minutes when I had made clear I didn't speak German??? And last, was it really necessary to add that we are in Germany? Aren't you being a bit xenophobic? If you don't want foreign people in your clinic, it's fine, I'll take my money elsewhere, just don't make me lose my time.

I deeply regret that Dr. Friedndi-kehaschespo didnt want to receive my dog on the 10th of January 2019, for an emergency consultation due to a broken toe. Dr. Friedndi-kehaschespo didnt want to receive me because I dont speek german only english. The universe is echo of our actions and thoughts.

It was a waste of time and money. They are extremely rude and discriminatory, especially with mixed-breed dogs. Just for the record, we are a German couple, so we speak German. Regardless if you are or not a German speaker, they will be rude. They didn't even try to examine our dog and investigate a bit what our dog has. However, it was funny that they were friendly when they charged us money for literally doing nothing. Unfortunately, we trusted our vet with this bad referral. Never again!

If I could put 0, it would be fairer. I came across with the most disrespectful attitude to English speaking people. The first day they refused to examine our dog because we couldn’t speak German. But then we told that we could call our German speaking friend to talk if it needed. Then I figured out that the nurse spoke English but she was silent at first. To sum up, they didn’t help, but money was spent ( “advise” to wash infected leg with soap+taxi=more than 100€). We came two days after to make them to do an x-ray, what they had supposed to do at first but refused. Because his leg became bigger and it’s tumour was bleeding. The same nurse who had spoken English the previous time, this time suddenly forgot how to speak. Everyone who came after us but speak German went forward. We spent an hour but they didn’t let us to come in. I didn’t understand how they dare to be so ignorant.
