Reviews
Very reliable, punctual, and competent. Thank you for a great job!
Twice and never again. In my case, it was the bluetongue vaccination for sheep, and the second time I was ripped off even more than the first. I wasn't given a price beforehand, with the words, "It's not that expensive..." The sheep were vaccinated so brutally that more than half of them broke out of the pen. I then vaccinated them myself with the vaccine they left behind. This wasn't reflected on the bill. Prices like a brothel. This year I had my sheep vaccinated by someone else for a fraction of the price. A friend of mine had an abscess amputated from a goat in the pasture! The vet was completely overwhelmed, and the goat was euthanized during the procedure. The bill still arrived!
Very straightforward, competent and super friendly! It was a perfect fit and they were on site for our sheep within 15 minutes.
A young vet came for treatment. Friendly. Not 5 stars, as two years ago, they were completely left stranded with an emergency sheep that died. But these days, after a call, they call back, and someone responds. So, keep it up.
Thank you – despite a verbal promise that they would call us back and tell us when someone would come to our emergency sheep, we learned after four hours that no one could come, and only after we had requested it. Previous requests were simply not answered or the mailbox was simply full. Now we had to find another vet, who then quickly arrived in the emergency room and noticed that the sheep was dying and should have been treated much more quickly. Symptoms were reported to LandVet over the phone. We suspect something else was the reason why they kept us so hung up with "a sheep" in an emergency – we're only a small business – but we would have covered all the costs, no matter how high. Of course, a hospital would be an option – but if an animal isn't fit to be transported and no vet comes to stabilize it – what are you supposed to do? If Landvet had immediately said they wouldn't come or if they had believed the statement about the recall, this review wouldn't have been made.
