A young veterinarian came to treat my sheep. She was friendly. Not five stars because two years ago I was completely let down when my sheep died in an emergency. But now, after calling, they call back and someone responds. Keep it up!

Thank you – despite a verbal promise that we would receive a call back to let us know when and who would be coming to our emergency sheep, we were informed after four hours that no one could come, and only after we had inquired. Our previous inquiries were simply ignored, or the voicemail was full. We then had to find another vet, who arrived quickly on call and realized that the sheep was dying and should have been treated much sooner. We had already described the symptoms to LandVet over the phone. We suspect something else is going on as to why we were strung along for "just one sheep" in an emergency – we are only a small farm – but we would have covered all costs, no matter how high. Of course, a clinic would have been an option – but if an animal isn't fit to travel and no vet comes to stabilize it – what are you supposed to do? If LandVet had immediately stated that they wouldn't be coming, or if we had been able to trust the information they provided during the callback, this review wouldn't exist.

Very straightforward, competent and super friendly! It was a perfect fit and they were on site for our sheep within 15 minutes.

Twice and never again. In my case, it was the bluetongue vaccination for sheep, and the second time I was ripped off even more than the first. I wasn't given a price beforehand, with the words, "It's not that expensive..." The sheep were vaccinated so brutally that more than half of them broke out of the pen. I then vaccinated them myself with the vaccine they left behind. This wasn't reflected on the bill. Prices like a brothel. This year I had my sheep vaccinated by someone else for a fraction of the price. A friend of mine had an abscess amputated from a goat in the pasture! The vet was completely overwhelmed, and the goat was euthanized during the procedure. The bill still arrived!
