Dr. Lison and his team come highly recommended. He provides excellent advice, takes his time and listens carefully, and my dog immediately felt safe with him and his team. Yes, he might be a bit more expensive than other veterinarians, but his experience and empathy are well worth it.

I wouldn't give any stars at all, but unfortunately that's not possible. I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA where the positive reviews here come from. This "veterinarian" is already responsible for the death of my dog and almost killed my cat, if I hadn't gotten a second opinion. Last week, a family member took their cat to this practice for surgery. Without a second opinion today from a COMPETENT vet, the animal would probably have died during the operation, as no cardiac examination was performed beforehand, and the surgery was completely unnecessary. New practice, same incompetence. Unbelievable...

I certainly won't be going back there: Instead of properly examining my critically ill cat, I was given more advice and questions about the best placement of the litter boxes in my apartment. My cat was practically turned over on the examination table like an object, palpated, and listened to with a stethoscope... nothing could be found – so I was asked again what it could be. I then asked for a blood test. After he tried unsuccessfully twice to draw blood (which, according to him, didn't work because my cat's blood was too thick), I was told that I should go to the emergency vet clinic in Essen. There, I wouldn't have to wait four days for the results (until after the weekend and Carnival Monday), but would receive them during my visit. At the emergency clinic, they determined that my cat was so incredibly ill that he unfortunately had to be euthanized that same evening (Rest in peace, dear Miri). In retrospect, I still wonder what I actually spent €64 on with Dr. [Name omitted]. I paid Lison so much?! (for palpation, auscultation, two fruitless blood draws, and a suggestion that something was wrong with my cat: he was losing too much fluid). No other vet has ever charged me so much and helped so little.

We are extremely satisfied with this veterinary practice and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Our Golden Retriever, Ben, suffered from persistent diarrhea and occasional vomiting for over two months. We had previously visited another veterinary practice in Bottrop several times, but without any noticeable improvement – in fact, his symptoms worsened over time. We finally went to Dr. Lison's practice. They took plenty of time for the examination and provided a thorough consultation. All the necessary tests were carried out carefully, and we felt taken seriously from the very beginning. Just one day after starting treatment, Ben was noticeably better. The diarrhea and vomiting stopped quickly, which was a huge relief for us. Dr. Lison and the entire team of veterinary assistants are exceptionally friendly, competent, and empathetic. You feel very well cared for at the practice. Many thanks to the whole team – we will definitely come back if needed.
