I'm so glad I found this vet. He's very kind, competent, thorough, and completely fair in his advice and explanations. He's less likely to avoid treatments that might not be very effective, in order to keep the already reasonable costs as low as possible for the patient. Furthermore, I've also received helpful advice over the phone (free of charge), which saved me a trip to the practice. I've always been able to get an appointment quickly, experienced hardly any waiting time, and the entire practice team is incredibly friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Both we as customers and our cat were treated very badly. The doctor handled the cat (a stray blind animal that had wandered into our lives) so roughly that she hid from us for a week and refused to eat.

I can only say good things. Our dog Keks (12-year-old male) was helped immediately on a Saturday when he was a stranger in town, and we would like to thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. THANK YOU!

Our animals (dogs) have all been treated and even operated on by Dr. Lüttkemöller at least once, and neither the animals nor we as owners have ever had anything to complain about. Dr. Lüttkemöller is open and honest, as it should be, and his receptionist works just the same. Keep it up! 👍🏻

I had an emergency after my cat ate a lily. I called the vet on the emergency number, and he didn't take it seriously at all. Lilies are highly poisonous to cats and can be fatal within a few days due to kidney failure, as we've learned. I was met with responses like, "So what am I supposed to do now?" and "The internet will tell you what to do." No questions about weight, quantity, or time. He said he hadn't had many cases involving lilies before. Even so, surely he's learned what to do and what constitutes an emergency. He offered to administer an antihistamine, which, of course, is completely useless in the case of poisoning—a fact confirmed to me over the phone by the animal rescue service and the Rostock veterinary clinic. There, I was taken seriously, and they provided me with the best possible immediate care.
