Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this practice. Even during the waiting period, I got a very unprofessional impression. In the reception area, the three veterinary assistants repeatedly made derogatory remarks about pet owners and patients, which were clearly audible to waiting customers due to the open design of the waiting area. Their handling of hospitalized animals also struck me as disrespectful. I heard comments such as, "Ew, did you poop? You stink!" as well as feigned gagging noises. I consider such behavior towards animals and pet owners unprofessional. The subsequent examination of my pet was, in my opinion, very superficial. The veterinarian seemed distant and lacking in empathy. My questions were answered in a lecturing rather than advisory manner, so I didn't feel my concerns were being taken seriously. Unfortunately, this wasn't my first negative experience at this practice. During a previous visit with another animal, I felt neither adequately informed nor well cared for. Nevertheless, I wanted to give the practice a second chance. I understand that daily practice can be stressful. Nevertheless, I expect respectful treatment of animals and their owners, as well as a professional demeanor from the entire team. Unfortunately, I have repeatedly found both of these aspects lacking here. For this reason, I will no longer be using this practice.

We are absolutely thrilled with Dr. Jozef Pataky, the veterinarian in Stralsund. He's not only incredibly professional and competent, but he also truly takes his time. No matter what your concern or problem is, you always feel taken seriously and that you'll work together to find a solution. That's exactly how a veterinarian should be. You immediately notice the combination of experience, calm demeanor, and genuine concern for the animals' well-being. Even complex issues are explained clearly, without any rush or the typical "quick fix" approach that you unfortunately sometimes experience elsewhere. We feel our animals are in excellent hands there and would go back anytime. A clear recommendation – we've rarely encountered such a trustworthy and dedicated veterinarian. 5 stars, without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We took our dog to the practice for a dental cleaning on April 15, 2026. I can only say that everything was handled professionally and efficiently; the staff were very attentive to the animal's needs. I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice.

Outstanding dedication far beyond the call of duty! We can't praise this veterinarian enough. He has now helped our Chihuahua twice in absolute emergencies. The first time was on Christmas Eve: Our dog choked on a treat, couldn't breathe, and her tongue was already blue. He was there immediately and made us feel like we weren't alone. Then yesterday evening (Saturday after 7 p.m.) came the next shock: suspected poisoning. Even though he wasn't on call, he dropped everything and came to the practice for us right away. Luckily, it turned out to be "only" bronchitis with a high fever, but his dedication was simply incredible. He is incredibly humane, warm, and absolutely loving with animals. Anyone looking for a competent veterinarian who still sees his profession as a calling will find exactly what they need here. We would recommend him without reservation!

I would like to share my very positive experience with my cat's treatment. Dr. Pataky impressed me with his high level of expertise, honesty, and friendly and empathetic manner, and he also avoided unnecessary costs. I always felt well cared for and learned a great deal. Overall, I am very satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend him.
