First of all: The vet's office is friendly, helpful, and very, very expensive. We've been here several times with our older cat. Whenever he had a minor ache or pain, we were always told that treatment was only possible with a thorough examination, even when we simply asked for pain medication. Recently, our little tiger has been having seizures that have frightened us greatly. In a pinch, we called the Ströbele practice and got an appointment at short notice. Although we asked for immediate assistance, they recommended a comprehensive checkup. Out of concern for him, we agreed, not knowing what to expect. The examination included taking his body temperature, taking several blood samples, one of which was analyzed in the practice and another sent to the lab, several X-rays, which our little one had to endure while screaming (we wouldn't have guessed in the next room that the screaming could have been our pet, but the vet confirmed it afterward), and IV fluids, which also caused enormous suffering. After the treatment/examination, our old cat was very shaken up and displayed behavioral problems for quite some time. Conclusion: No specific cause for the seizures was diagnosed. He was given an antibiotic on suspicion of pancreatitis. We received a bill for over €760. Unfortunately, the poor thing still has seizures... Quick note: At another vet, our cat was briefly examined for a urinary tract infection, his temperature was taken, his behavior was observed, and he was given an antibiotic. That was it. Cost: €30 Another doctor mentioned that an older animal shouldn't be subjected to unnecessary stress during treatment or examination, so as not to upset its balance. He therefore only did what was necessary.

Dr. Ströbele and his amazing team are nothing short of lifesavers! Our cat wouldn't have survived his serious illness without the tireless efforts of the practice team – you'll be hard-pressed to find a doctor and team with more passion and dedication to their work. Highly recommended!

The entire team is very friendly and competent. Concerns are taken seriously, and Mr. Ströbele takes a lot of time with each of his animal patients and their owners. This sometimes leads to waiting times, but I'm happy to accept them. What I like best is that animals are still valued at this practice—including petting the animals during the examination, which significantly helped reduce my cat's stress. Thank you all.
