Please don't go there!! It used to be a nice place about 3 years ago but now its a MESS the veterinarian there, a lady, she lacks empathy, humanity and makes you feel like you are the worst owner. I am very much on top of my animals health and she gives you a feeling like you do everything wrong! She also misdiagnosed my cat and focused on her kidney tests and neglected what was really going on. My husband is a dr and he said you know what we should get another opinion somewhere else because he had a feeling something else was amiss! And indeed!! Then with my dogs she was sarcastic and ironic towards me and also said non veterinary information to me as if she would know this 100% but she was just trying to start a discussion. I later found out what she said was not true. We are not german but from south america so my mother who was also there with her dog and doesnt speak german had trouble understanding and not once did she made an effort to talk to her or even acknowledge her. Awful awful vet!! The helpers where very nice and didn’t lack the empathy she clearly did! There are VERY nice vets here in Heidelberg so please do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else!!

Efficient service with incredibly friendly staff that make the effort to communicate in English. Very well priced and incredibly easy to get an appointment at short notice. Would highly recommend If you are a foreigner and have moved to HD.

Friendly and helpful personnel, calm doctor, and flexible schedule. In case of emergency or risk to the animal it's possible to get an appointment in several days. 2 cats, X-Ray, medication, vaccination, kastration.

My daughter (who is 20 and looks younger ) took her cats to get a pet passport and a rabies injection. She had all of their paperwork with her, which indicated they were already microchipped. She told them exactly what she needed, but they microchipped the cats without saying what they were doing, then charged her an extra €80. She went home and only realized later that they’d microchipped them again. When she went back, the vet refused to talk to her (sent the nurses back and forth), didn’t believe that they’d been chipped twice, and refused outright to refund her. That means they didn’t check the cats or the paperwork before implanting the chips! And when it turns out that’s what happened, no apology. They offered her a voucher, but she’s moving to Spain and wouldn’t be able to use it. The techs will not make eye contact with anyone and you wait for a long time to be seen. We will not be back. Completely unprofessional and rude.
