Kleintierpraxis im Fischerhaus - Dr. med. vet. Ariane Rodewald

Recently, on a Sunday, my little kitten Bonnie was hit by a car, and we immediately referred to Dr. Rodewald in Heidelberg. She was the emergency doctor on call for that day. She did a superior job with Bonnie. Unable to operate on her as the break on her leg was very complicated, but she x-rayed and made Bonnie comfortable. She even forwarded the x-rays onto a specialized clinic in my near. I am very thankful and grateful to have found such a loving, well experienced doctor to take care of Bonnie. I highly recommend this praxis. Also, the complete team are very caring, experienced, and well organized. I will not hesitate visiting Dr. Rodewald again with my pets.

My small bunny had a sterilization here. Few times we visited Dr. Rodewald and I am completely satisfied with her and team also. Dr. Rodewald is very kind nice and friendly with my little boy and she knows very well how to touch and handle him! Thank you so much for your best support all the time!!!

I visited the practice under unfortunate circumstances. My French Bulldog had an emergency and Dr. Rodewald's practice was on call. The Dr and team acted quickly to get Bailey into an oxygen chamber whilst they prepared a plan of action, and then executed. There was communication all the way, and they kept me close to Bailey where possible. In addition, the doctor took blood tests to look at the health overall, which has indicated some further action to be taken. The doctor asked if this was okay, and I appreciate the attention to overall care in the midst of an emergency. I can't say enough about the amazing team that supports Dr. Rodewald. They work together so well, with urgency and calmness. The entire team communicates well in English, and I really appreciate their empathy, and genuine care.

May need to bring cash. Really lovely staff. Cozy waiting room. Fortunately they speak English. We moved across the world with my dog and had to get him checked up on arrival. They extracted a broken tooth and he's doing much better. They also got his pet passport set up. The only downside is our cards didn't work here so we had to get all cash to pay... not ideal but not their fault and they were understanding (more of Germany-in-general and outmoded payment systems), but just a note to anyone else in a similar situation! Don't think you're safe just because the grocery store takes your card, some readers won't 😅

Dr. Ariane truly saved our little bunny. She has always been incredibly supportive, professional, and kind. She gave us so many appointments, even from one day to the next, and always replied to our emails. She continues to take care of her with great dedication. The whole team is also very kind and helpful – thank you all! We are deeply grateful for everything you have done and we really hope that Perla will get better soon.
