Super Team 👍👍👍
This practice is simply unbelievable. We went there on vaccination day to get our two cats vaccinated. They wouldn't do it because they supposedly had ear mites. So, they cleaned each cat's ears with cotton swabs and gave us medication to take home. The price was €210. Two weeks later, we went back on vaccination day. This vet then said the cats didn't have mites, complained about the other vet, and then administered the first vaccination. The price was €250 on vaccination day. When we asked why it would be cheaper on vaccination day, we were told it was €10 each. Then we asked about neutering, and that's when we lost it. They told us to expect to pay around €370 for the female cat and around €240 for the male, but that it could be more depending on how the surgery went. I didn't even dare ask about the price for microchipping. In short: This practice is only after your money and will never see us again. When it was still SmartVet, it was a really great veterinary practice. We then made the trip to the Franconian Switzerland region to see the vet. We dropped off both cats, enjoyed a lovely day in Bayreuth, and picked them up again after 5 hours. The price for neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and tattooing the cat and tomcat was 460 euros. They even showed us how to remove the stitches ourselves so we wouldn't have to come back, but they also said he would do it for us at no extra cost.
Unfortunately, our 15-year-old cat Willy had to have (almost) all of his teeth extracted due to FORL and other painful conditions. The four-hour operation was a complete success thanks to the highly competent veterinarian, Dr. Wiese, and her team – our cat is now doing wonderfully again.
As has often been the case, I needed a short-notice appointment with the vet because our cat had gotten into a fight with another animal outside and was injured. I was able to get an appointment with Medivet for the same day. As always, I found the care and treatment of my cat to be excellent. I feel very well looked after there and can highly recommend the practice. Many thanks to the entire Medivet team. Please keep up the good work. Best regards, Maria Keck
"Unfortunately, my visit was very disappointing. We had specifically scheduled the appointment for 4:15 pm, but at the vet's office, they claimed it was at 4:00 pm. Both the receptionist and the veterinarian seemed unfriendly and lacked empathy. Furthermore, our cat was only weighed, and we were charged an additional €21 for this, even though we weren't informed of this charge on the phone. Overall, we were told on the phone that we would pay around €68, as vaccinations would supposedly be €10 cheaper on Fridays, but by the end of the day, we had paid around €93! I also felt that I wasn't treated with much respect because of my foreign background. The treatment of my cat didn't seem thorough enough. Overall, I didn't feel well cared for there, either personally or professionally. More transparency, friendliness, and a more caring approach to animals and their owners would be desirable. Since I work in the insurance industry myself and place great value on professional interaction with people, I..." I'm absolutely certain: I will never visit this practice again and will definitely not recommend it to my clients in Nuremberg and the surrounding area.
