Tierärzte am Nordring

Very disappointed ☹️. I had to rush after being to them and paid a lot for doing nothing to my dog, to the clinic in Hafen where after a complete check we saw that they haven't done anything to my dog except getting money. I should go back and ask for it, they are ripping off ppl without results.There was a lady doctor from Japan, friendly though,but she must go to school and learn vet.... Very bad 😞 Not even to check the temperature. She gave me a false diagnosis,if I was listening to her my dog would be dead by now. Shame of you all !!!

*** please read before taking your pet to this clinic *** WRONG DIAGNOSIS, WRONG TREATMENT AND NOW MY CAT IS GONE. Thursday, Oct 3rd (public holiday): we bring our cat to the emergency because she was weak, not eating/drinking and not using the cat litter for a couple of days. The clinic was empty and the vet gave a quick look on her and saw something on their mouth and said “it is gingivitis, this is why she is not eating”. To allow her to poop they gave a laxative and not even told us how to use it (the staff in the reception that kindly explained us). They not even run a blood test! Something basic due to her age (12 yo) and general conditions. Friday, Oct 4th: She was still bad so we took her to her to her doctor (Tierklinik am Stadtpark) at 15:30 who run a blood test and noticed the kidney failure and they recommended immediate infusion for AT LEAST 3 days. We bring her back to the Nordring clinic (only place available to run a 24 hours infusion) at 16:30 to start the procedure. Saturday, Oct 5th: Nordring clinic called us at 8:30am saying the situation is still bad and the results aren’t good and asked us to go there at 15:00 to speak to the doctor. We spoke to the doctor who said to continue the infusion for another day and bring her back home the next day (not completing the 3 days as the other vet recommended). They said they will call us on Sunday morning and we could go there at 15:00. Sunday, Oct 6th: Nobody called us so we decided to call them at 10:30. They said our cat ate during the night and was using the cat litter so we could take her back home without the 3 complete infusion days. We were a bit surprised about it so we decided to go there at 15:00 as they requested to TALK to the vet and for our surprise our cat was ready to be discharged (she was in her transport with all her things)! We tried to argue about exams and so on but she said “take her back home. She has to eat and not vomit. If she is not eating and vomiting we will need to “put her to sleep”. You can bring her on Friday to run more exams. The total cost? Almost € 1.000! We arrived home and she was drinking water for 4 hours in a row completely dehydrated. We tried to contact Nordring but no answer from them. She was also not eating or using the cat litter (HOW CAN THEY DISCHARGE A CAT IN THIS CONDITION?) Monday, Oct 7th: we bring her back to see her doctor at Tierklinik am Stadtpark who was really surprised why Nordring didn’t give her the 3 days infusion. Due to her condition and suffering we decided to “put her to rest”. She passed away at 11:45am. In a nutshell: they gave the wrong diagnosis and treated her based on that (we also had to paid for the wrong treatment), didn’t follow the request from the other vet, poor treatment and, on top of that lack of professionalism treating the animals as an object and not as a life. So, I can’t bring my cat back but I can give you this advice: if you have the chance don’t bring your pet to this clinic. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing, this can cost the life of your pet and you’ll have to pay a fortune for that.

I brought my dog for first time for yearly check up and vaccination. As per yusual the form has to be filled out when it's your first time. They ask you what king of payment would you like. Find it a bit strange considering the fact you never know how much you gonna pay. Staff was very friendly. I waited a bit over an hour with appointment witch is also ok. I think was some kind of misunderstanding at reception because the nurse call me on my phone to confirm the appointment and ask me where was I. That's why i give 4 instead of 5 stars. Just because I felt a bit uncomfortable and I think the nurse on the reception also. Doctor was also very friendly and forthcoming person. I am very pleased. Be coming back again definitely, hopefully not anytime soon.

Great and quick and friendly staff and knowledgeable doctors. Came in with our sick dog on a Sunday afternoon; waiting time only twenty minutes which is really not much. He received medications and instructions of what to do next at home. Great! He is well again thanks to them.

we were waiting in the line for three hours, they just keep giving us papers to fill, too hot inside, no water nothing, i wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here, your pets deserve a better place where they care about them
